Hope it is true I have him snapped up in a few set ups and added him to the talent thread in my sig, looks like it will be Barcelona B he will move to if it is true.

Crespi (vice-president Boca Juniors): "Araujo's transfer to Barça B could be closed today or tomorrow. Loan plus 8-10M buy option."

Seriously, lol at Malaga!

Looks like Malaga's sugardaddy lost interest in his toy and the club now needs to find €18m by the end of July or face forced relegation (heaving Atletico Madrid into a CL-spot and promoting Villarreal).

According to the article they're in hot water over €7m owed in taxes and €3.5m to Villarreal for Cazorla. Looks like the first victims of the Sheikh fad, and probably not the last.

IMO they'll scrooge up the money, but wouldn't it be delicious if they didn't? :D

I have read they are going to sell Isco to cover the debt..

http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2012/07/24/3261959/arsenal-keen-to-sign-santi-cazorla-report

The Spain star is one of four players, along with Ruud van Nistelrooy, Salomon Rondon and Joris Mathijsen, who threatened to make a formal complaint against their club to Jose Luis Rubiales, the president of the Spanish players' union,

Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

Taci Oil Group is set to for the takeover of Malaga, expected to be announced today. Malaga's situation remains tricky however, since they owe their players (and some other clubs for transfers) €20mil of which 30% must be paid before tomorrow's deadline. Cazorla's future will be solved tomorrow at the latest when the payments are due, in one way or another (as in the new owner paying from their own pocket, or Cazorla being sold- most likely to Arsenal).

The company's revenue for 2007 was €62.6 million

As stated by wikipedia, which should give us a basic idea of what they can do.

Official: Rubin Kazan sign Salomon Rondon from Malaga

The Venezuelan has penned a four-year deal with the Russian Premier League side after just two seasons with the Andalusians, who are going through financial problems

http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2012/08/05/3288161/official-rubin-kazan-sign-salomon-rondon-from-malaga

Since both Rondon and Van nistelrooy is gone, that leaves Sebastian Fernandez to start at forward.

Canales has just moved to Valencia. How do people rate his chances?. He was touted for huge things but bad injuries last season hindered him' date=' so what chance do people think he has?[/quote']

No doubt he will see plenty of minutes if he is fit. Only thing hindering his development, you could see he was a class act whenever he was at Racing.

Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

Javi Martinez has already left, Llorente looks to be following him out, bitter sweet news for Bilbao, two excellent players, but really does fill their bank balance, but what use is that money to them? Don't think theres any Basque players on the same level as the two who would be available.

Martinez is replaceable, Llorente will be a problem, i know they've signed Aduriz, but he's not on the same level, goals may be a real problem for bilbao.

Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

Looks like we're signing another players from La Liga! According to reports in Spain the signing of Pablo Hernandez is imminent.

Some reports have stated that we've already agreed personal terms with Hernandez and he's expected to be officially signed tommorow. Some reports are saying we've agreed a €5 million (£4 million) fee with Valencia, others are saying we've bid €5 million and Valencia are holding out for €7 million (£5.5 million).

I'd be so pleased if we could pull this deal off :D

Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

Cissoko to Valencia :)

Now all that's left is for Malaga to get a consistent forward. Seb Fernandez started the 2 la liga and 1 champ league game for Malaga, but Olinga achieved more results.

Iago Aspas scored 25 goals in all competitions for celta vigo last season. Hint hint. ;)
