Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

Really good write up from goal.com - he does tick all the boxes and I really think we (Chelsea) shouldnt of let him go:

He can certainly handle the big stars & his relationship with Zidane could do wonders for Real's image.

Sacking or to be correct "ending there relationship" Mourinho is the best thing that could have happened for Real's image and will restore a lot of credability overnight.

He was hated by vast majority of people in Spain, the press and even within his own club. I dont think it can be classed as convenience the amount of people from all sides in Spain be it people with links to Barca, Madrid themselves etc all saying the same thing.

Real Madrid is a proud club but he IMO let the club down and tarnished there name, constantly dragging there name through the gutter with his actions and ego. You only have to take a look at his "crime sheet" whilst out there

To name but a few:

1- Poking opposition managers in the eye.

2- Refusing to go and collect his losers medal on Friday from the King(totally disrespectful)

3- Alienating the entire dressing room.

4- Numerous rants at the press

5- His degrading of fellow managers Guardiola in particular

6- Disregarding Casillas/Pepe etc to the detriment of the team, he allowed his own feelings to be more important than the good of the club.

Numerous others as well, fact is Real will regain a hell of a lot of the lost credability and smearing of there name with him gone. A coach such as Ancelotti or Hynckes would be exactly the right type of coach and be a hell of a lot more dignified as well.

I am pretty sure the playing staff will also be delighted, his position had become untenable really.

Higuain to Juve is 99% a done deal.

Real Madrid reported to buy fullback Daniel Caravajal (own youth product) for €8M from Leverkusen.

Completely right.

I know ;)

But Thanks anyway, some people wont like it but Mourinho ultimately for what his arrival promised failed to deliver and dragged Madrid's name through the mud whilst doing it.

Real is one of football's greatest institutions and is much bigger than Mourinho ever will be. They will be absolutely fine without him.

Was just reading up about that.I was thinking for a while now, why is Isco being linked top clubs like PSG and Man City surely he would want to continue his career in Spain with Madrid or Barcelona.

Was only a matter of time before one of the big 2 would be after him.

Villa seems to have agreed a deal with Tottenham' date=' not sure how muhc truth there is to that.[/i']

I would say he is on his way out regardless of where he ends up.Thiago might also be on the way out. With the likes of Messi, Neymar, Pedro Fabregas there i cant see Sanchez being there either, plus there was rumors of him leaving.
