Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

What has happened to Racing Santander? They were taken over in 2011 in La Liga' date=' now relegated to the third division.

Players like Carlos Bocanegra, Hameur Bouazza, Gai Assulin and Juanmi (who;s a Spain U19 regular)[/quote']

Well think Blackburn (except with borrowed money) with respect to what has happened and add the intrigue of having the owner investigated by interpol, add a lack of goals ..and hello 3rd division and one step closer to oblivion..

Nice game between Spain and Haiti in Florida. The Haitians have been quite impressive and are giving Spain a run for their money in this one goal game with ten minutes to go. Either team looks likely to score again. :)

Álvaro Morata

Remember this name.

Although he didn't play with the U21 NT before, he now has 2 Caps 2 Goals. He also played 1 game in the CL and made 1 assist. A brilliant header of the ball. Reminds me of Morientes. I will never forget his goal against Levante in the 84th minute.

Reina move to Barca quickens as Liverpool move elsewhere

It is widely expected that Reina will replace current Barca number one Victor Valdes when he leaves the club, either this summer or next and it has led Liverpool to look elsewhere for a new keeper

So Valdes is staying for one more season then he is off?

Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

They don't have a replacement keeper yet

This is right.

AS stated previously Valdes never said he was definetley staying. he wants the move to Monaco but will stay if Barca cannot find a "suitable" replacement.

Reina would probably be a likely one if they stump up enough money I can see us selling. Hope he stays but I would not begrudge the guy a move to Barcelona considering all he has done and given to Liverpool. Always been a dream for him and nobody can deny the quality service he has given us.

Actually not just Montoya. leverkusen has been rambling around many right backs' date=' ever since Carvajal moved to Madrid. There is a gap in their defense now, along with the exit of Daniel Schwaab.[/quote']

Well they are suffering some heavy losses with Schurrle leaving to Chelsea with Bayer getting De Bruyne on loan and about 20 mill and hope to get Ajax's Toby Alderweireld and Ericksen and Andres Palop.
