Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread

Was mulling over the situation at Real Madrid..

It is interesting that with Mourinho gone, super agent Jorge Mendes clients have all been in the news lately have been making noises..Cristiano will receive a new contract for sure and it would be disastrous to have anything else. However Di Maria, Pepe, and Coentrao are heavily linked with moves out of the club.

With respect to Pepe, there is some who think last season was the last they would get any significant return from him so can see him being flogged to another club. Marcelo has been injured and inconsistent -so a bit shocked Coentrao has been linked with a move (but it would explain his utterings since on the lower salary rung).

10 or more players will leave Castilla -but hoping Morata, Jese remain or get picked up by decent clubs.

Malaga starlet Isco has revealed that he has received offers from both Real Madrid and Manchester City' date=' but is still to make a decision on his future.

I would like to see him at Madrid rather then City, where his career wil go downhill.

Manchester City will be best as his old manager will be there to guide him.

I'm sure Pellegrini would not let him rot.

Manager has nothing to do with it.Of course he will rot if top players are getting bought.

The team was built around him at Malaga that's why the manager liked him and was one of there best players' date='not going to be the case at City.

Of course manager has something to do with it when selecting players. Mourinho for example like Khedira in Madrid,Moyes like Hibbert and Neville in Everton He'll surely get a chance as Pellegrini know how Isco play.

It's obvious in Malaga the team built around him as he's best player. He'll have some competition in City but if he is good enough,he'll play

Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao has stated that he wishes to return to Benfica, amidst reports that he is set to leave Spain in the summer.

Soldado is quoted by the Metro as saying, “I’m very happy at Valencia but will not close the door to anything. I also see that there are colleagues who have left Spain and things are going well.

“The Premier League and the Bundesliga are very attractive for any player and we would all like to enjoy something there.”

Premier League side Chelsea are believed to still be in the hunt to sign Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso, who could be a big summer exit from the Santiago Bernabeu.

Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed that Vicente del Bosque has asked him to play the same role he played when at Arsenal during the Confederations Cup.

Yeah, he's much more likely to play at Real ahead of Ronaldo, Ozil and Di Maria  Pellegrini's a huge fan of his and he's good on a much more consistent basis than Nasri.
