Hi all

pretty new to this SM lark but il do my best to get involved! So im giving these predictions a bash

I know nothing about the might of the Chilean Primera but a bit of research here and there and im going to share what i think will be the movers and shakers in the up coming changes.

I have only rated players that i would be interested in buying for my Div 4 team so i havent looked at players that cost more than around 750k..so add if anyone wants to add to the lists go ahead..

Feel free to pick apart my ratings but bear in mind this is my first go at this!

Or if you want to expand on it go ahead but at least give me some credit!

must buys in bold, but dont take my word for it though, just guesses through research!

Cheers!

Re: Chile - Primera Division

A warm welcome to the forum mate' date=' assuming most of these predictions are accurate.. thanks a bunch this will be really useful for a lot of people.

(If only every newbie could contribute like your kind self haha)

repped[/quote']

cheers fella

i hope they are near enough, i considered individuals mins and goals and also looked at the SM rating of the established team members who were considered the better players, and gauged where they would fit in ratings-wise..i guess il see how accurate i was in a week or so!

Re: Chile - Primera Division

Yes welcome Daggers, just started checking Chile, you have:-

FARIAS, Eduardo DM/Def 21 75 (+8/9) -(22 apps,all starts,2 goals, 1899mins)

... rising to 83/4 but SM seem to have a "ceiling" (squad limit) at 82 for Cobresal??

Any extenuating reason(s)?

Your input is genuinely appreciated, don't worry

sorry poor maths..+7 to 82 i think as he is ever present,

BUT, looking at Cobresal, same as San Felipe, there squad 'ceiling' is lower than some of the clubs below them in the league, therefore maybe the whole team may improve? eg Huachipato has 85, CD Everton 84/85, O'Higgins 84/85....

What is the minimum you reckon these two players would rise by if SM are being strict? :)

Re: Chile - Primera Division

Seems like there are so many good risers you have predicted and that makes me unsure how accurate. Maybe the stats speak for themselves' date=' but I wouldn't know any different. Thanks for the work none the less.[/quote']

ye thanks but the ratings are a bit over like u have said farias 82 when thats highest you would need to establish yourself for the whole season and get loads more goals than two. most of them are a bit drastic sorry pal but good effort.:)

Re: Chile - Primera Division

Good work - As a predictor myself I know this isn't a 5 minute job

I think you have been a bit optimistic - but only because the reviewers at SM are nasty people and always like to undercut the excellent work of the forumers lol (except when they actually used my own exact suggested ratings for League 2 :D)

ha..well just have to see what comes up next week or so, then i can see how harsh they can be! personally i think they are fairly accurate based on the stats and also the other players in the squad ratings..but then again, its my first attempt!

Well actually not, if you are a defender (DM/Def)

How do you know or find out the ceiling for a team????

Re: Chile - Primera Division

by looking at there best 3-4 players.

That's okay, it gives you an idea, but sometimes a team signs a few old guys from somewhere else, pushing up the team ceiling quite high.

I'd prefer to look at the best 10/12, and I get an average, which includes any signings made, or top players sold.

That ceiling can change due to how the team has been performing, but it's not easy to take all sorts of variables into consideration, but you should do okay with most of the players you choose to buy. :)
