MCFC James' English Premiership Rating Predictions and Analysis Thread

Recommended Posts

I watch the Premiership week in week out and am going to use this thread to predict the future ratings of players in the Premiership. I might be starting my predictions too early, so I will be editing my ratings on a regular basis depending on how the player is performing. Feel free to comment on my predictions and question me.

Hope you find this thread useful. :)

Re: MCFC James' English Premiership Predictions

Nice start' date=' agree with all them although i think it's a little early to give Vela & Lansbury a rise, with barely any gametime this season.[/quote']

Thanks Aidan. I'd say its 50/50 for a rise for Vela. Scored a couple in the Champions League the other night and came on against Bolton and scored a nice goal. Not getting enough game time, but when given the chance he looks good. Should get a clearer picture of his rating in a few weeks. Lansbury looked good at Watford last year and topped with a few Carling Cup appearances this season, then there maybe a possible +1 rise.

overall very fair but vermaelen should be on for a rise to 92 and there is no way nasri is dropping (he has been brilliant all season so far)

and RVP shouldn't drop

I thought about putting Vermaelen to 92' date=' but I don't think he's deserved it quite yet. He's definitely on the border, but personally I don't think he's done quite enough to warrant a 92 just yet. I'm sure he'll reach 92/93 in the near future, but not this time round.

I'm about 80% sure RVP won't drop, but I think there is still a slight chance he will. Injuries are coming on a regular basis for him, but when fit he's an outstanding player.

Nasri has only started two league games this year and I think if a player is rated 92+ then they should be starting a lot more games to be rated that highly. Although he is a very good player when playing.

good predictions , although if Nasri drops then so should Fabregas ;)

Like I said before I don't think he's getting enough starts to what a 92 rated player should be getting and I feel other 92 rated players (Malouda and Fletcher) are better players and more deserving of their 92 than Nasri. Certainly a very good player, but you're an Arsenal fan and you know more about Nasri than I do. So, you're probably right. :)

Yeah' date=' nice work until now :)

Something that came to my attention:

Gibbs is 85 ATM ;). How much do u think he could rise?[/quote']

LOL, thanks mate. I'll change it now. :)

Chears for the feedback lads, will do Birmingham, Bolton and Blackburn tomorrow after School. Then hopefully crack on with the rest of the league over the weekend. Big thanks to Rhys/Arfon who is also helping out with the predictions.

fletcher and Malouda will probably get 93 , maybe fletcher but defo malouda

Also remember Nasri played the 1st 2 games and then got injured for like a month :P

Re: MCFC James' English Premiership Predictions

year nasri has been injured and has only had the chance to play 2 games. after his injury he is back were he left off playing brilliantly and will get a start in 80% of games defo not going down and fully deservs 92

Yeah I know he's been struggling with injuries, but I honestly don't rate him that highly. I'm pretty sure he'll stay at 92, but I don't think he's as good as other 92 mids in the Prem like Fletcher and Malouda.

Will resume with the ratings after I get back from the City v Chelsea match. Will try and get a good chunk of it done by tonight. :)

yer i see what you mean but malouda is probably due for a rise and flectcher is the top end of 92 where nasri is mid 92 if you see what i mean so comparing him to those two is a little unfair

ps good result for city

Re: MCFC James' English Premiership Predictions

predictions have been a big help so far well done james

could you fit in the spurs squad soon please

Thanks Terence, will try and get them done as soon as possible.

Guys, was thinking about doing a weekly round-up of Match reports of the weekends games. But, when I was searching through Youtube to try and get videos of goals from the Weekend all you get is links to other websites. However, I don't know how to insert videos from other websites other than ones from YouTube into a post on the forum.

Anyone else know how to do this? Reports would look so much better with videos.
