Guest Villa888
Re: World Championship 10000 Match Reports/Transfer News Renato hits back Division 4 club Napoli are playing in what they would call the Champions League (SMFA Cup) and are the only Division 4 club (I believe). They faced Sevilla in an intense match that set up Renato vs former club Sevilla and Hamsik vs former club Napoli. Who came out on top? It only took 6 minutes before Napoli scored with Hugo Campagnaro scoring from a cross from the right. He showed great strength and ability to score a wonderful goal against Palop. It only took 7 more minutes before Sosa scored a powerful header that went past the keeper again making it 2-0 for the underdogs Napoli. Lavezzi and Maggio both had shots on target before the 3rd goal of the half came with Renato scoring from 15 yards out. He had all the space in the world to take a shot. 3-0 going into half time. Palop saves a wonderful header and Afellay gets yellow carded for what looked to be a 50/50 challenge. Poor card. In an adventurous 2nd half that didn't really have much but a few saves and crosses (even from Terry), Afellay headbutts a Napoli player and is sent off. Full Time. It was a wonderful game. Even on possession but quite a few more shots than Sevilla. Sevilla are a fine team and with a 3-0 win even at the San Paolo makes it all worth it. Renato was fantastic. Hamsik himself looked to have a good game. It was great seeing him again. We had a little chat, he thanked me for the chance to play in Division 1. "What did you think of Afellay's headbutt?" Wild man. This isn't the final of the world cup, it was the 1st game of the group stages. I was shocked. Wasn't the style of Zidane though.

In the first game of the SMFA cup both teams were gunning for the three points but the experienced Inter manager had the personnel to dispatch the free spending Man City team. Milito opening the scoring The game started in Man City's favour and the first 15mins David Silva was trying his upmost to gain an early advantage but the Inter defence and Julio Cesar were not letting anything through. The next 20mins saw both teams battling it out in midfield until Milito had a blistering shot saved by Joe Hart only to tap in the rebound. Half time 0 - 1. The second half became an onslaught on both goals but both keepers were forming heroic's to keep their teams in the game. The one and only booking of the game came in the 81st min in which saw Lucio booked for violent conduct. However Roma started brilliantly after Marko Marin notched his first goal for the club after just 8 minutes. But within a minute Paul Scholes scored from what seemed to be an offside position, however the goal stood. Things then went from bad to worse as Roma met Wayne Rooney is sparkling form. Rooney grabbed a brace with his second being the pick of the goals on the night, with an excellent individual effort. The scoring was completed by Darren Fletcher, bringing to an end an a crushing defeat for Roma. Joe Robinson: " Well you can't take nothing away from United, they were brilliant. When you play against Wayne Rooney in that form then you are going to be hard pushed to win. But I will not paper over the cracks. The perfromance was frankly shambolic. Guest Villa888
Re: World Championship 10000 Match Reports/Transfer News One of Division 4 title favorites downed at home! In a poor effort to combat a 3-3 draw, Napoli manager changes the tactics to a more attacking style at home and fails. A shocking result against a team in which most would have thought would be fighting for one of the bottom spots. Game started off so well for Napoli. 4th minute, Park scores off a deflection. 3rd of the season, 1st in the league (2 in a friendly). 8th minute Pineda scores a wonderful header to put Chivas back on track. 24th minute and again Park gets through the defense and slots home perfectly. 2-1 Napoli going into the break thanks to South Korean wonder-talent. What a start for the talented player. 2 goals in 1 league game. Half time. It goes from great to terrible for the Napoli manager though. 57th minute and Medina beats the offside trap and rounds the keeper to make it 2-2. And for the 2nd time in 2 games, Napoli fall to an offside goal making it 3-2. Omar Bravo was surely offside and a terrible linesman ref fails to call it. It's cost the Napoli manager 4 points already this season. We can blame the linesman for the offside goal. Of course we should have gotten the draw if the linesman wasn't blind. Disgraceful. But what was more disgraceful is the scoreline. We shouldn't be giving up 3 goals at home, or even 2 goals at home. Park is doing all the scoring for me. 4 goals in 2 games, even if 1 was a friendly. He's such a natural talent. Where was Cavani? Dossena, Renato? Horrible to have to have one player do the scoring for you. I'm absolutely lost for words on this result. Inter will be happy with the 2 - 2 away draw to Lyon especially after having there defender Maicon sent off for diving after only 38mins. The game started brightly with both teams looking to gain an early advantage but it was Lyon who struck first after Van Persie in the 14th min hammers home emphatically passed Julio Cesar. Inter tried to get back into the game and dominated the rest of the first half but were unable to capitalize on all their possession. Then a controversial moment came when Maicon was sent off for diving. Half time 1 - 0. Maicon see's Red. After only 5 mins from the restart Kanoute doubled Lyon's lead with a smartly taken shot for which Julio Cesar did not stand a chance. Lyon then received their first yellow card, Van Persie for a rash tackle on Kaka. On the 56th mi Milito whipped in a beautiful cross which Pandev rises above the defender and glances a header inside the far post. 2 - 1. Pandev celebrating Inter's first. After Pandev's goal Inter completely dominated the rest of the game while Lyon looked to try desperately to hold onto their 2 - 1 lead. Then Lyon gave Inter a lifeline, Van Persie was sent off for a professional foul. With the teams now even with ten men each there was a burst from Eto'inho who slid the ball through the tiring Lyon defence and picked out Milito who's shot was wickedly deflected into the back of the net. Final score 2 - 2. CAMILA: Wow, what a game, I am pleased for my team from coming back from 2 - 0 down to rescue a point especially after Maicon was sent off for something which would normally warrant a yellow card. Apart from that decision I thought the Ref actually had a good game. Milito is becoming a player impossible to leave out of late, he has now scored two goals has one assist and also received the MOM in the last two games, absolutely fantastic. Only 6 minutes after the game kicks off the visitors almost score through summer signing Liedson, but the curling shot goes just wide of the post. Two minutes later Zenit do take the lead, this time it is the highly rated right back Anyukov who heads it powerfully in! Anyukov scoring the opener. As if there hadn't been enough action so far, Hulk turns quickly and unleashes a power full shot past Shay Given. Hulk equalises for Porto Just under 10 minutes latter Zenit's right winger Joaquin capitalises on some poor Porto defending and rounds the keeper to score an easy goal. Joaquin scores. Both Belluschi and Liedson could have scored, but they fail to capitalise. On 33 minutes Moutinho is booked for blocking an opponents run. At half time Zenit are leading Porto 1-2. After half time there is less action as both teams play it out. 62 minutes: Muniz LIEDSON hits it early to score the last goal of the game. Liedson celebrates his goal. Mike H 2,061
Re: World Championship 10000 Match Reports/Transfer News Nine man Shakhtar batter Barcelona Shakhtar 5 - 0 Barcelona A 30 minute hat-trick from Adriano sank Barcelona, and condemned them to their first defeat of the season, and most emphatic defeat for some time. Shakhtar broke repeatedly down the right hand side, exposing the lack of width for Barca across the middle of the park, and it only took them ten minutes to take the lead with Srna finishing off a slick move with a neat finish. Then came Adriano. Throughout the whole game he carved out numerous chances, and took three himself, whilst the Shakhtar back line heald firm against a forward line of Villa, Messi and Iniesta. Barcelo had a fair amount of possession, they just lacked the cutting edge when it came to creating chances, something that Shakhtar did not have any problem with. despite two silly red cards, one for time wasting and one for diving, Shakhtar held on for a deserved victory. A terrible first defeat for Barca has set alarm bells ringing so early in the season, how such an experienced back line could be found so frail.
Will 2,888
Re: World Championship 10000 Match Reports/Transfer News Thought it was about time i did a transfer report for West Ham The young starlet in defense at Fc Koln, Pedro Geromel joins the club to bolster the defense. Peter Crouch also joins the hammers for a very good fee. He quotes "I just want to be playing with the big boys again" Antonio Nocerno of Palermo comes on board to stoke up the midfield and provide some goals from the midfield. 'Nocerno shows his delight at the transfer' Aiden McGeady was targeted after his recent move to Spartak Moskow. Manager Will Trafford quotes "His new move showed me what he can do and i couldn't wait to have him aboard." Ola Toivonen has been on blistering form recently, and this form made manager Will Trafford very interested, he was quoted as saying "hopefully he can bang them in for us like he does for PSV" Other transfers include Hugo Rodagello and Josés Callejon to provide some cover in attack. Two young defensive starlets in González Ruben and Kris Stadsgaard provide the depth in defense. Young risers include the talented Brahemi from Rennes and Kiko of Hercules, along with a host of other rising talents. To make these transfers happen the club had to say goodbye to many West Ham favourites, including Cole, Spector, Collison, Stanislas, Dyer, Boa Morte, Tomkins and club favourite Piquionne. PARK 32 + 48 Pato's second goal New Brazilian manager Camila took charge of her first International match and finished comfortable winners against a resilient Korea Republic. With nearly 2/3 of possession Brazil dominated the game and scored their first after only 19mins from a mistake in the Korea defence let Pato sneak in a score a truly easy goal. Korea responded positively after the goal and caught Brazil on the counter where C. Park beat the offside trap and slid the ball under Julio Cesar. The half drew to a close 1 - 1. Ronaldinho score's Brazil's fourth. The second half both teams came flying out the traps and saw three goals in ten minutes, first C. Park on 48mins lobbed Julio Cesar to put Korea 2 - 1 but then Brazil turned on the flair and after 52mins Pato scores his second from a beautiful glancing header. On the 54th min Fabiano is in the right place in a goalmouth scramble and pokes the all into the net. Brazil turned the game around to 3 - 2, but they were not finished and kept attacking the Korean goal, it was not until the 84th min where Ronaldinho is left in acres of space and finishes from ten yards. Final score 4 - 2. Brazil captain Kaka and vice captain Ronaldinho. CAMILA: I am very pleased in the attitude shown by my team as they came back from 2 - 1 to win 4 - 2, I had always expected to win and my players delivered. Guest Villa888
Re: World Championship 10000 Match Reports/Transfer News 3rd time still not a charm for Napoli manager Napoli manager Andrew has been very upset with the sad performances from the defense and it continued at home against Hoffenheim. It was an expected 3 points against a poor team and it went totally different than planned. Park is probably the most inform striker going into this game and though he didn't score, it's hard to blame him. He's scored 7 goals in his past 4 games (2 friendlies, a league game and International game) so it's hard to say he should have scored again and he didn't. The pressure was then on Lavezzi to perform and he was poor. Shockingly Hoffenheim manager is almost like a computer manager. Didn't change a single tactic, nothing is on and it would be almost the same team, meaning like against the computer it's a huge toss-up. Game started poorly for Napoli. Compper had a wide shot. Napoli started controlling and making the defense worried. 9 minutes into the game and a rare goal for DM Vorsah of Ghana scored a beauty of a shot from outside the box. Continued on it seemed like Napoli took control. Had more shots than Hoffenheim but couldn't find the net. 2nd half and Weis goes into the book for a poor challenge. Park then darts brilliantly down the flanks but his pass is far too weak to reach his target Lavezzi in the box. Sosa was then booked for a 50/50 challenge, the fans hissed and booed for a poor card. Even the commentators thought it was a poor card to give. Obasi then takes a nice shot and it just goes past the post. De Sanctis then made a very easy save. Ibertsberger worked his magic to move the ball up the field and then in a comedic act that had the fans laughing and cheering, he tripped over the ball. Dossena was then yellowed for shirt pulling. That was game. 1-0 Hoffenheim. Napoli Hoffenheim Possession 42% 58% Total Shots 18 17 Shots On Target 7 6 Corners 9 3 Yellow Cards 3 1 Red Cards 0 0 We're finding our ground. It was a poor showing, expected more. Lavezzi is just not doing what I expected since the first game. I have to find someway to get Lavezzi, Cavani and Park on the pitch all at once and against Chelsea I think I found the way to do it. We're trying our probably 3rd or 4th formation since the season started with our starting 11 or what will be away to Galatasaray. I've come under-fire and very rightly so. We were title favorites and now it looks like we might not even be play-off favorites. Other than a poor start, what have you been surprised about this season? The great form Anderlecht have been in. They're running the show right now. I'm actually surprised by the standings right now. I had my predictions this season and they're quite off from the start. I also have to give big props to SK Rapid Wein's manager. I had them in the bottom 3 and wasn't thinking they'd even get a result yet. Wow I was wrong. Kavlak is in such good form for them and I hope they keep it up. Anyways. We have our next game away to Galatasaray and we're going to try to get the result I think we can. They're still unbeaten in the league and sit 2nd with the best GD in the league and I hope to change that.
Shehan 777
Re: World Championship 10000 Match Reports/Transfer News Navarro wonder-strike wins it for Sevilla. A Strike by Fernando Navarro is the 41st minute all but assured Sevilla would return home with 3 points. Navarro's curling shot from 25 yards out managed to find the net in what was a entertaining match. Roma headed into the match as clear favourites as recent signings Drogba and Arshavin were troubling the Sevilla defence. After settling into the match, Sevilla finally made thier presence felt when efforts from Hazard and Hamsik just missed. After a tug-of-war for 40 minutes, Sevilla pulled the strings as Hazard played in Navarro who's shot was blasted into the back of the net. The first half remained at 1-0. The 2nd half was throughly dominated by Sevilla, however the score remained at 1-0 due to an excellent performance by roma keeper, Stephane Ruffier. Sevilla almost made it 2-0 when A Hamsik's ball found Afellay. Just when he was about to take the shot, Perotta vigorously tackled him with his studs remaining up. He was shown his 2nd yellow card for the night meaning he was now on a red, resulting in his sending off. Sevilla managed to hold on to the small 1-0 win as the streets in Sevilla went mad after beating the Italian Giants. Man Of The Match was Navarro, for his beautiful goal. Navarro Scores the Winner Sevilla Manager, Shehan De Kariyak- "My boys have done it again. Determination and Hardwork got us the victory in the end. Well, we must concentrate on our friendly tommorow where i will be playing some of my B team. If they impress they will be in my next squad. Everyone in this team must fight for thier spot in the starting X1. We can simply work as a team well, hence why we won tonight. Roma will take time but eventually they will be one of the best in the Division. Credit to them for making us fight for the victory." Marcelo Celebrating His Wonderstrike. A fantastic away victory for Inter as they overcome a strong Juventus team 4 - 1. The game was billed as a draw but Inter went out to prove they have what it takes to beat top teams in their division. Possession wise Inter had total control of the game with again taken 2/3 overall. Right from the start Inter were on the offensive and were looking to gain an early lead, after testing Buffon on a couple of occasions it was not until Pandev drilled home his shot after 15mins that Inter took the lead. 0 - 1. Inter were looking to extend their lead straight away but had to wait until the 24th min where Marcelo scored a screamer of a goal, a spectacular long range shot which flew into the top corner, truly a contender for goal of the season. 0 -2. Grosso is harshly booked on the 26th min for a 50/50 challenge on Milito. The next 20 mins until half-time saw both teams testing the goalkeepers but neither finding a way through. Half-time 0 - 2. Pandev After His Second Goal. Second half begins in much the same as the first, Inter dominating proceedings and looking to extend their lead even more. Pandev was once again causing a nuisance in the Juventus half and after a magnificent save from Buffon after Pandev took his chances with a long shot only a minute later the 56th saw Pandev once again try his luck from distance this time beating Buffon and extending Inters lead to 0 - 3. Juventus were now looking broken but a tidy counter attack saw Iaquinta connect with a beautiful cross an reduce their deficit to 1 - 3. Iaquinta Breathes New Belief into Juventus 1 - 3. Now with some new hope Juventus relentlessly attack the Inter's back line but are unable to find a way through. Pandev was booked for a rash challenge on the 75th min, this break in play allowed Inter to make three substitutions, Sandro on for Cambiasso, Thiago Motta on for Zanetti and finally Baptista on for Milito. With these three substitutions it seemed to settle the game game and prevent Juventus from regaining control of the ball. Grosso already on a yellow card could not win the ball back for Juventus and went in wildly on Eto'inho which gave the ref no choice but to send him off. Now at 1 - 3 down and the loss of Grosso to a more than deserved red card Juventus tried to see out the rest of the game without conceding any more goals. Inter on the other hand were looking t use their numerical advantage and capitalised when substitute Sandro on the 84th min scores a peach of a goal a screamer from 25 yards Buffon did not stand any chance of saving that one. Final score 1 - 4. MOM - Milito. Julio Cesar Celebrates Inter's Win With Lucio. CAMILA: Wow, what a fantastic result away from home, I was hoping for a win but never expected to win with such a margin. The whole team played magnificently, everyone clicked with each other. Pandev again showed how valuable he is to the team and so did many other players. I am also pleased with the substitutes as they regained control of the ball and Sandro scored a fantastic goal. Walshe takes the post afetr what has been a horror start for Villa under their previous boss Predator. Walshe admitted it's a tough task as the club have suffered since the loss of Martin O'Neill, losing the likes of James Milner and the shock departure of Richard Dunne to Division 1 giants, Chelsea. Walshe stated the club have been in a vunerable position, being forced into selling their top players and said his era will be a re-building period for the club. "We won't be buying big names or splashing out on players due to a small transfer kitty, but we will continue to sell to buy. One of the few players we won't be selling is Stewart Downing, as I see Stewart as a key player to the club since the dip in form of Ashley Young and the departure of James Milner. We'll be bringing in talented players that will help take the club foward and add depth but certainly, we won't have a star studded team or splashing out on players like what was done in the past." The first two players GC Walshe has brought in are John Walters from Stoke for £2,200,000 and Federico Fazio from Sevilla for £7,000,000. Walshe said Walters is a great signing, for a little fee and he will play a big part in the team. Whilst Fazio on the other hand, will be slowly introduced into the starting 11 as he will need to regain match fitness due to Sevilla not playing him. mattygcfc
mattygcfc 739
Re: World Championship 10000 Match Reports/Transfer News Division 2 Predictions Bordeaux (0) vs (3) Hamburg SV With Hamburg's great form and Bordeaux, less than good season start. This should be a walk in the park for the boys in Germany. I hope my match ends the same way. Manchester City (1) vs Dynamo Kyiv (1) With the Special One's less than fortunate start to the season, Manchester City are in a spot of trouble at the moment, And critics say it will continue, everybody seems to pick on the Special One. Ajax (1) vs (2)Genoa Genoa are on fire so far this season, And with probably they're hardest challenge so far this season in Ajax, a goal is expected to be conceded by the Genoa Goalkeeper. Watch this space, still got more matches to do

MOM Eto'inho CAMILA: My team has come on leaps and bounds and are working as a solid unit, the last two games have shown a great attacking presence from scoring 9 goals but also how effective and strong our defence is as we only conceded 1. Tonight's game is very pleasing and I am overjoyed with the way they were so clinical in front of goal and their defensive prowess. Kaka is a true legend and is pulling the strings in the middle, I am so proud of all the boys. Now we must concentrate on the midweek game against a strong Shakhtar. Cost me Rodrigo SOUTO and 2.9mill which i find a good deal considering their rating difference. Solid 89 player. Which are hard to come by without having the pay some audacios price.
