Porto Smash Three Past Inter. FC Porto 3 - 0 Inter Moutinho 13, Belluschi 41, Varela 72. MOM Varela Scores Porto's Third. FC Porto stunned Inter with a fantastic display of clinical finishing. Many anticipated a close game with maybe Inter coming out on top but on the day Porto showed their worth and carry a stunning 3 goal lead into the second leg. It was not to be Inter's night and just after only ten minutes they were reduced to ten men when Robinho brought down the Porto striker whilst being the last man, the referee had no choice but to send him off. With the one man advantage Porto came into their stride and after 13 minutes scored their first when a beautiful cross by Micael was converted by Moutinho. 1 - 0. Inter tried to maintain some balance in the game and countered at every opportunity but were unable to find the net. Rolando was yellow carded in the 23rd minute for dangerous play. Porto found a second goal just before half time when Belluschi ran onto a through ball from Moutinho and thumped the ball into the top corner. 2 - 0. The half time whistle blew with the home team having an impressive lead. Half Time 2 - 0. Moutinho Scores A Goal And Grabs Himself An Assist. The second half was more an even contest with both teams attacking. Porto with their two goal lead could afford to show some restraint in attack and look to hold onto their lead. Meanwhile Inter were throwing everyone forward looking for a way back. It was though to be Porto's night and on the 72nd minute they scored again this time Boselli set up MOM Varela to smash the all home. 3 - 0. Porto had complete control f the game now and were more than happy to see ut the rest of the game. The final whistle blew and the home fans were ecstatic as they now have one foot in the final. Final Score 3 - 0. MOM Varela. Camila:I am truly devastated with the result as soon as Robinho was sent off the game was over for us. It all started so well for Barcelona when just after 60 seconds David Villa split open the Inter defence with a magical through ball for Mascherano then to just casually roll the ball into the net. 0 - 1. Inter came straight back and kept attacking the away team but Victor Valdes was in fine form denying the likes of Fabiano and Pato. It was not until the 25th minute when Inter got their equaliser when MOM Kaka hit a trademark free-kick which flew into the back of the net. 1 - 1. Inter then started to dominate proceedings but it was Victor Valdes who was pulling out all the stops to help his team go in at half time one a piece. Half Time 1 - 1. Fantastic Display By Victor Valdes. The second half was a lot more even with both teams seeing opportunities missed. Ronaldinho received the only yellow card of the game for his late lunge in the 48th minute. Both Julio Cesar and Victor Valdes kept the scores level with their more than impressive displays in goal. The final whistle blew with applause from both sets of fans. Final Score 1 - 1. MOM Kaka. Atlético Madrid needed just 60 seconds to find a equaliser when Dominguez slipped a beautiful through ball for Reyes to knock the ball into the back of the net. 1 - 1.
