MOM Varela Scores Porto's Third.

FC Porto stunned Inter with a fantastic display of clinical finishing. Many anticipated a close game with maybe Inter coming out on top but on the day Porto showed their worth and carry a stunning 3 goal lead into the second leg. It was not to be Inter's night and just after only ten minutes they were reduced to ten men when Robinho brought down the Porto striker whilst being the last man, the referee had no choice but to send him off. With the one man advantage Porto came into their stride and after 13 minutes scored their first when a beautiful cross by Micael was converted by Moutinho. 1 - 0. Inter tried to maintain some balance in the game and countered at every opportunity but were unable to find the net. Rolando was yellow carded in the 23rd minute for dangerous play. Porto found a second goal just before half time when Belluschi ran onto a through ball from Moutinho and thumped the ball into the top corner. 2 - 0. The half time whistle blew with the home team having an impressive lead.

Moutinho Scores A Goal And Grabs Himself An Assist.

The second half was more an even contest with both teams attacking. Porto with their two goal lead could afford to show some restraint in attack and look to hold onto their lead. Meanwhile Inter were throwing everyone forward looking for a way back. It was though to be Porto's night and on the 72nd minute they scored again this time Boselli set up MOM Varela to smash the all home. 3 - 0. Porto had complete control f the game now and were more than happy to see ut the rest of the game. The final whistle blew and the home fans were ecstatic as they now have one foot in the final.

Final Score 3 - 0.

MOM Varela.

Camila:

I am truly devastated with the result as soon as Robinho was sent off the game was over for us. We really must sort this out in the second leg and make sure we send our team and fans to the final.

MOM Kaka Grabs The Equaliser.

A very even game unfolded in Milan where a entertaining draw was played out by the leagues top two teams. It all started so well for Barcelona when just after 60 seconds David Villa split open the Inter defence with a magical through ball for Mascherano then to just casually roll the ball into the net. 0 - 1. Inter came straight back and kept attacking the away team but Victor Valdes was in fine form denying the likes of Fabiano and Pato. It was not until the 25th minute when Inter got their equaliser when MOM Kaka hit a trademark free-kick which flew into the back of the net. 1 - 1. Inter then started to dominate proceedings but it was Victor Valdes who was pulling out all the stops to help his team go in at half time one a piece.

Half Time 1 - 1.

Fantastic Display By Victor Valdes.

The second half was a lot more even with both teams seeing opportunities missed. Ronaldinho received the only yellow card of the game for his late lunge in the 48th minute. Both Julio Cesar and Victor Valdes kept the scores level with their more than impressive displays in goal. The final whistle blew with applause from both sets of fans.

Final Score 1 - 1.

MOM Kaka.

Camila:

I expected a close game today and when they scored in the first minute I was worried but our team showed why they are champions and came back fighting. We next face another Spanish team Atlético Madrid.

MOM Pato Gets Brazil Back On Track.

Saudi Arabia even surprised their own fans when after the first minute of the game some excellent passing from Otaif allowed Al Qahtani to slot the ball home. 1 - 0. Straight from the restart Saudi Arabia came forwards once again this time a brilliant through ball from Al Jasim sets up Al Harthi to double the home teams lead. 2 - 0. Just two minutes on the clock and already Brazil were two goals behind the whole stadium was in shock. Brazil started to get their act together and with some fine Brazilian flair they were soon on top. On the 19th minute a corner is whipped in and Diego heads the ball on for Pato to hit it on the half volley and smashes it into the roof of the net. 2 - 1. Just five minutes later and Brazil had equalised a delightful ball over the top of the Saudi defence by Fabiano is collected by Kaka who volleys the ball past the motionless keeper. 2 - 2. Robinho picked up the only yellow card of the game in the 27th minute for dangerous play. Brazil kept up the pressure but were unable to add any more goals in the first half.

Brazil came out in the second half looking to finish off the game after their nightmare start. It took Brazil 15 minutes from the restart to grab the winner when once again Fabiano provided a delightful ball for Fernando to run onto and turn his marker then from 25 yards out smashed the ball home. 2 - 3. The away team were now in full control and passed the ball around seeing an end to a Saudi Arabia late comeback. The final whistle blew to the relief of the away fans.

Final Score 2 - 3.

MOM Pato.

Camila:

Wow, we had a complete nightmare of a start, the worst start to any game I have been involved in, two goals down in two minutes. Well done to all the lads for coming back and winning the game. We have now finished the qualifying stage undefeated and we will be taking this run into the World Cup.

MOM Kaka Leads The Way For Inter.

Inter put on another great display of footballing talent as they overcome Atlético Madrid. The away team started the game well and after only seven minutes Marcelo played a long ball through the middle for Kaka to collect and drill the ball home. 0 - 1. Atlético Madrid needed just 60 seconds to find a equaliser when Dominguez slipped a beautiful through ball for Reyes to knock the ball into the back of the net. 1 - 1. Both teams seemed to play the ball well through the middle of the park but it was always Inter that seemed to be more in control and with just a few minutes to half time Pato connected with a delightful through ball from Dani Alves to thump the ball into the back of the net. 1 - 2. The half time whistle blew with the away team having a slender lead.

Diego Grabs Inters Third.

The second half was a much more even affair with both teams looking to get forward and test the opposing keepers. Fabiano and Robinho both had chances to extend Inters lead while Reyes missed a couple glaring chances for his team to draw level. Then on the 81st minute Inter wrapped up the three points when a delicate chip into the area from Fabiano was headed in by Diego. 1 - 3. Digo Godin was to be the only player yellow carded in the 85th minute for time wasting. The final whistle blew to the delight of the away fans.

Final Score 1 - 3.

MOM Pato Grabs Himself A Goal.

Inter needed a attacking display in their second leg tie against Porto to overturn a three goal deficit. It started well for Inter when after only 8 minutes Dani Alves put his team ahead after a short corner by Kaka he curled the ball around the unsighted keeper. 1 - 0. Porto were once again to spoil Inters night as on the 13th minute a mix up in the Inter defence led Boselli to square the ball to Belluschi to poke the ball home. 1 - 1. The home team knew they needed goals and continued to play the high tempo game and just two minutes after Porto had equalised Inter once again had taken the lead. Pato this time connected with a beautiful cross by Dani Alves to head the ball onto the post and in. 2 - 1. Inter continued their attacks but were unable to progress their lead any further in the first half. Yuto Nagatomo become the first player to be yellow carded in the 35th minute for a reckless challenge on Kaka. Porto held on till the half time whistle fortunate to go into the break only one goal behind.

Fine All-round Display By Dani Alves.

Due to the first half away goal from Porto Inter now knew they still had to score another 3 goals to win the tie. Relentless attacking from the home team saw them come close on several occasions but it was not until the 71st minute that Inter got their third goal when a delightful ball from Pato allowed Kaka to run clean through on goal, dummies the keeper and knock the ball into the empty net. 3 - 1. Porto were trying desperately to defend their slender aggregate lead but Inter were still on the charge and with 10 minutes to go they scored another Fabiano forcing an error from the Porto defence sees Marcelo run through, round the keeper and slot the ball home. 4 - 1 Inter were now only one goal away from the Champions League final. With time running out and decisions not going Inters way Fabiano become the home teams first yellow card of the game for abusive language. The final whistle blew to the delight of the away supporters as they will be competing in the final whereas the home support cheered a valiant effort from the team.

Final Score 4 - 1.

Aggregate Score 4 - 4. FC Porto Progress On The Away Goals Rule.

MOM Pato.

Camila:

Well done to the lads, we were so so close, we just needed a few more minutes. Congratulations to Porto and I hope they do well in the Final. The lads done all I asked but it just was not meant to be. Always next season. Up next is our last fixture off the season as we take on Zenit, there will be huge celebrations as we will once again parade the Division 1 trophy and have an award ceremony after the game.

MOM Kaka Puts Inter Ahead.

Inter drew their final league game of the season and finish an incredible 13 points clear of second place Real Madrid. Both teams came out ready for their final league game wanting to give their supporters something to cheer about. After only nine minutes Cabanas was yellow carded for a raised arm, and just 3 minutes later an easy chance goes begging for Robinho. The play was very open and both teas were countering each other. Zenit picked up their second yellow card of the day on the 41st minute for dangerous play. The half time whistle blew with little for the crowd to cheer bout.

Cabanas Grabs Himself Two Goals.

The second half was a very different affair than the first as both teams came out blazing. It was the away team that started the goal scoring when on the 47th minute a poor clearance by Julio Cesar was picked up by Liedson who fed the ball to Cabanas to score an easy goal. 0 - 1. Just five minutes later some magnificent passing from Inter lead Robinho to set the ball up perfectly for Fabiano to smash the ball into the back of the net. 1 - 1. With both teams throwing caution to the wind it was only a matter of time before the next goal and on the 69th minute Pato found Kaka who burst into the box and lashed the ball home from 15 yards. 2 - 1. Zenit started to throw everyone forward for the last twenty minutes and were lucky not to let another goal in as Pato missed a glaring opportunity to put the game to bed. Instead the attacking approach from the away team resulted in a dramatic late equaliser in the 83rd minute when Joaquin fed the ball for a foraging run and strike by Salvador Cabanas which sends the away crowd wild. 2 -2. The final whistle blew and both sets of supporters were on their feet applauding the footballing display on show.

Final Score 2 - 2.

Inter Will Have A New Approach In Season 4

Camila has once again transformed her team and with Season 3 fast approaching it's end she can now look forward to Season 4 promising her loyal fans that there will be trophies.

There has been a complete overhaul in personal and the old days of an all Brazilian team are now just a distant memory as Inter show off what it seems to be endless talent from young players.

There are still a few players left which will be heading out but it seems the team is pretty much sorted now.

Possible Season 4 Line-up (Likely to change)

Inter Announce Their 25 Man Squad
