THE 'TOILET SEAT' CUP

Just a little idea I got from EC106. Rather than going through the hassle of a youth cup, I've decided to create a new little friendly comp, nicknamed the 'Toilet Seat' Cup, based on the nickname for Hyundai A-League trophy. The other Aussies in here will get what I mean. Am looking for 6 teams to play a round robin tournament with the top two teams playing in the final.

The Rules:

- Average starting line-up must be no more than 85.

- Players rated over 95 can not feature

- After we have all the teams, each team will randomly be assigned a formation to play. These formations will be: 4-2-4, 3-2-2-2-1, 5-3-2 sweeper, 3-3-4, 5-2-3 and 4-4-1-1 (if 8 teams then 4-5-1 defensive and 5-3-2 defensive will be used. )

- Teams who do not obey the above rules will face a 3 point deduction (forfeit)

- 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss

The Teams

1.Manchester City (KopStar)

2. Wigan Atheltic (Nikindinho)

3. Port Vale (Villa888)

4. Burnley (Scout177)

5. Portsmouth (mattygcfc)

6. Boro (Gozzy)

7. Tranmere (Tacta Scott)

8. Everton (Kroitzz)

---------------------

9. Rotherham (pg7772a)

10. Luton Town (Scout Maker)

11. Norwich City (Wigan)

12. Rochdale (cainhoy)

NOTE: If this generates good interest, then I would like to to become a seasonal cup

The Draw

STAGE ONE: FORMATION ALLOCATION

Random generation resulted in the following:

1.Manchester City (KopStar)
4-2-4

2. Wigan Atheltic (Nikindinho)
5-4-1 (changed from 5-2-3)

3. Port Vale (Villa888)
5-3-2 sweeper (changed from 3-3-4)

4. Burnley (Scout177)
4-4-1-1

5. Portsmouth (mattygcfc)
4-3-2-1 (changed from 5-3-2 sweeper)

6. Boro (Gozzy)
3-2-2-2-1

7. Tranmere (Tasca Scott)
4-5-1 defensive

8. Everton (Kroitzz)
5-3-2 defensive

9. Rotherham (pg7772a)-
3-3-4

10. Luton Town (Scout Maker)
3-4-2-1

11. Norwich City (Wigan)
4-5-1 defensive

12. Rochdale (cainhoy)
3-4-2-1

NOTE: Whilst the tactical arrows can be used these formations must be used for the full 90 minutes in every game.

WHAT NEXT? The fixture draw

ALSO: Will allow the oppurtunity to swap formations or choose another obscure formation that must be first approved by me.

STAGE TWO: The Groups

Group Y

Port Vale

Burnley

Everton

Manchester City

Group Z

Tranmere

Wigan

Boro

Portsmouth

Group X

Re: The Toilet Seat Cup| EC2933

Pretty happy with the formation i got :D

I think this competition wouldn't be right if the mighty Everton weren't in it. I'm in :D

EDIT: I think managers should be able to choose their own formation and tactics though.

Wanna swap? :P

I got the 5-2-3

Re: The Toilet Seat Cup| EC2933

ahh well' date=' can't complain :P

Alright, I'll take the 5-4-1. Suits my style of play :)[/quote']

Okay thats approved. Have added the formation draw onto the first post of the thread and made the change.

EDIT: Was thinking of having a different competition format. Have 2 groups of 4 to start with. The top two of each group progress to a round robin comp and the top two teams play the final. Think Im going to go with that version.
