I thought I'd report on the MLS ratings now that the regular season has come to a close. I know the MLS isn't the most popular league, but I am very knowledgeable about the MLS since I currently live in the USA. I am constantly watching the games and following the league news so those are my credentials.

This is my first ratings prediction thread so go easy on me. Hope this can help you with your squads. I am confident in my predictions.

Green = Rise

Light Green = Might Rise

Black = Stay

Orange = Might Drop

I think they're both at least likely to get the same rating as they've both played about the same amount of minutes. Infact, Juninho probably deserves a higher rating as all his 27 appearances have been as a starter. Definitely deserves more than a +2!

How's the boy Nazar at DC looking? His stats look reasonable and only 17yrs old. Be interested to know what you've thought of him if you've managaed to catch a look.

I agree with Omnium, Juninho will get more than a +2. Playing that many games should see him getting more like a +5. Keep working on the thread ;-)

Nice start mate, there are some really good young risers in the MLS when I looked. But do you really think Henry will keep his 92? Poor last season and now in a weaker league and no longer an international. I would of thought maybe -1/2 (Still a legend though )

They both jumped into the Red Bulls squad midway through the season, so they haven't had a chance to prove their worth with the squad. Henry will get more touches next season with the departure of Angel.

The MLS league is poor compard to Europe (Donavon was the highest rated player at 89 before Henry and Marquez joined, so the leauge cap looks like 89). I would assume SM drop them just like they did with Beckham, who is also now a 89 rated player. Even if Henry had score 15+ goals, SM would still drop him because the MLS isnt the greatest league.

I would be hugely surprised if Henry kept his 92.

I could go as far as 81 for Ream. Firstly, they play two completely different positions so it is not possible to compare them directly. It would be like comparing Chiellini to Drogba.

Secondly, the ratings are predictions as to what I think SM will do in the future. I feel that SM prefers to make gradual changes to player ratings. Since Ream is currently 75, I doubt SM will jump him all the way to 83 or 84. Richards is already an 80 so a jump to 82 is not drastic.

Yes, I agree, which is why I posted that he would rise.

I think that there is a slight chance that Donovan could rise to 89.
