Totti417 474
I thought I'd report on the MLS ratings now that the regular season has come to a close. I know the MLS isn't the most popular league, but I am very knowledgeable about the MLS since I currently live in the USA. I am constantly watching the games and following the league news so those are my credentials. This is my first ratings prediction thread so go easy on me. Hope this can help you with your squads. I am confident in my predictions. Green = Rise Light Green = Might Rise Black = Stay Orange = Might Drop Red = Drop BOLD = Rise or Drop +/- 3 or more

Omnium 257
Re: MLS Ratings 2010 - by Totti417 Los Angeles Galaxy Michael Stephens 73 -> 79 Juninho Pereira 75 -> 77 I think they're both at least likely to get the same rating as they've both played about the same amount of minutes. Infact, Juninho probably deserves a higher rating as all his 27 appearances have been as a starter. Definitely deserves more than a +2!

But do you really think Henry will keep his 92? Poor last season and now in a weaker league and no longer an international. I would of thought maybe -1/2 (Still a legend though ) Dont mind you using a similar format, it looks good and easy to read Keep it up
Stuart H 19,818
Re: MLS Ratings 2010 - by Totti417 Good work so far but Henry can't stay. The MLS simply isn't good enough to support his 92 rating. A -2 is a must and he'd still be the highest rated player in the league. He'll probably drop to 89 the changes after unless the standard of football in the USA improves. I'd also suggest Marquez will drop to 89 these changes.

I agree with both of your claims, but I think SM will give them both a second chance to prove their rating. I can see Henry possible going to a 91, but surely not less than that, nor will Marquez drop below 90. They both jumped into the Red Bulls squad midway through the season, so they haven't had a chance to prove their worth with the squad. Henry will get more touches next season with the departure of Angel.

I would assume SM drop them just like they did with Beckham, who is also now a 89 rated player. Even if Henry had score 15+ goals, SM would still drop him because the MLS isnt the greatest league. I would be hugely surprised if Henry kept his 92.

Firstly, they play two completely different positions so it is not possible to compare them directly. It would be like comparing Chiellini to Drogba. Secondly, the ratings are predictions as to what I think SM will do in the future. I feel that SM prefers to make gradual changes to player ratings. Since Ream is currently 75, I doubt SM will jump him all the way to 83 or 84. Richards is already an 80 so a jump to 82 is not drastic.
