Football betting!

Recommended Posts

This thread is for anything about football betting. If you have a bet you want to place but you aren't confident on it and need backing by fellow football nutters post here. :)

I'll start it off...

Tonight im betting an accumulator on the following games:

Barca to beat Panathinaikos....

Manchester United to beat Rangers...

Valencia to beat Bursaspor....

Benfica to beat Hapoel.....

Inter to beat FC Twente....

Tottenham to beat Werder Bremen...

The one I'm nervous on is the Spurs match... If I add Rubin to beat Kobenhagen my winnings will go from €70 up to €130

Advice?

Re: Football betting!

I've never betted before whether its online or in a betting shop But im deciding whether to open an account with Bet365 and put £20 in the account as it says you get 200 pound in free bets.

Do you really get the 200 or is it some kind of scam where there's a catch in the small print?

I think if you deposit £20 you'll get a free £20's worth of bets, if you deposit £200 then you'll get the £200's worth of free bets. Something like that.

Re: Football betting!

"Free bets" do not include the stake in your winnings.

i.e free £20 bet on 2/1 odds would return ONLY £20 whereas if you bet £20 "real cash" you would get £40 back.

Most sites will match your first few bets ultimately doubling up the odds ;-)

As for the OP accumulator I would be "wary" of putting Inter + United in there as I personally could see draws occuring.

I bet on a couple of accumulators each week and there is always one sodding result which appears out of nowhere( See Chelsea V Sunderland, Man Utd V West Brom, Arsenal v West Brom + Newcastle ) . Just normally put £1-2 and look at returns of £60-70

How much you putting down? must be a decent amount of money as most of those results must be pretty short odds tbh

Only €6.

"Free bets" do not include the stake in your winnings.

Ye I know what you mean, those random results come out of no where.

Ye, Im going to pull out of the United one - too risky but Im going to keep the Inter one.

Schalke + Lyon.(Lyon to win...) too risky? It would bring my potential winnings from 70 all the way to €222

Re: Football betting!

Hello.

I do Goal Rush, with either William Hill or Coral every week.

Basically all that needs to happen is for both teams to score in the game.

So if i give a list of games for this Saturday combined of FA cup, championship, league one and league two fixtures, i would be interested to hear your views on four games out of these fixtures were you think both teams will score in there respective games.

If majority say the same sorta games i'll stick a 10 quid bet on :D

Championship

Barnsley v Watford

Bristol City v Sheffield Utd

Crystal Palace v Doncaster

Middlesbrough v Hull City

Preston v Millwall Ground Info

QPR v Cardiff City

Reading v Leeds United

Shorpe v Coventry City

Burnley v Derby County

League one

Rochdale v Oldham

League two

Morecambe v Crewe

FA CUP

AFC Wimbledon v Stevenage

Brighton v FC United of Manchester

Burton Albion v Chesterfield

Bury v Peterborough,

Carlisle v Tamworth,

Charlton v Luton,

Colchester v Swindon Supermarine

Darlington v York

Dover v Aldershot

Hartlepool v Yeovil

Hereford v Lincoln City

Huddersfield v Macclesfield

Notts County v Bournemouth

Sheff Wed v Northampton

Southampton v Cheltenham

Torquay v Walsall

Wycombe v Chelmsford

Re: Football betting!

If anyone wants another tip, the Spanish games on Sky Sports. Say every week or 2 a 3-2 or 2-3 pops up. And with odds at 33/1 generally its a decent shout to put £1 on each game on Sky. I've started doing it and won over £200 this season on that alone.

Re: Football betting!

For the hardcore gamblers of accumulators, International week is a godsend.

If you bet AGAINST: San Marino, Liechtenstein, Faroe Islands, Armenia, Malta, Estonia + Luxembourg, barring a SHOCK result £50 usually returns around £60. A tenner profit for usually dead certs ;-)

365 are doubling whatever you deposit up to £200. So if you deposit they'll give you an extra £200' date=' if you deposit a tenner they'll give you £10. You have to play through 3 times your bonus (I think it is) until you are allowed to withdraw it.

"Free bets" do not include the stake in your winnings.

i.e free £20 bet on 2/1 odds would return ONLY £20 whereas if you bet £20 "real cash" you would get £40 back.

Not the case at all.

I feel like crying! haha. I was at my mates house because we both placed the same bets and we were flicking through all the matches on sky every minute, and Benfica lose to some random team!!! Life goes on!

Had I bet on Copenhagen instead I think it would have been 85 that I'd had won. :o

Re: Football betting!

Right, lost my bet on the weekend because of Benfica.

Gonna make a bet this weekend and it will be my last one for a while:

€5 accumulator on:

Stoke v Man City (City to win)

United v Blackburn (United to win)

Sevile v Getafe (Sevile to win)

Inter v Parma (Inter to win)

Werder Bremen v St Pauli (Bremen to win)

Potential winnings €66. What do you think? I'm pretty confident on all games apart from City v Stoke, should I be worried or confident? :o

Re: Football betting!

650?! On 365 that only comes to 190.

Also' date=' I personally wouldn't touch Inter, they're shocking at the moment.

Edit: Oh! you put stoke to win! That still only comes up 295.[/quote']

Yep your right, i could have sworn it came up at 600, Unless i clicked on the wrong one.:o

@Aaron - I've got a sneaky feeling stoke will win, hard place to go is Britannia.

Around £326 with Ladbrokes.

And I agree about Inter, I think that'll be a draw.

My bets are 2 four folds. £5 on each and both return around £180.

1- Arsenal, Schalke, Doncaster, Coventry.

2- Middlesbrough, Millwall, QPR, Sundeland.

Been about a fortnight since I won anything so I must be due :D
