Alurcard 4,067
Since forum legend Insider left to do other things (mainly because of dispute with SM I believe) there's been a bit of gap with Brazilian predictions. Now I generally do quite a bit of my own scouting of players anyway so while trying to get ahead of the game in one particular competitive league (EC 7046, the league for winners!) I thought i may as well put the predictions up rather than keep them to myself. Now then, this league isn't one i watch all the time so I’m far from an expert and would never profess to be the fountain of knowledge Insider was. This covers minutes only at this point, predicted ratings may come at a latter point. Insider 11,470
Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions He's getting them from the second half of last season. I mean, there's obviously some rating to be done when Lucas, key player for Sao Paulo who started more than half their games last season, is rated 75. As for Zezinho, no. But he's at Bahia now, so this season watch out for him.

DerbyPower 6,071
Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions Lucas to 85? A +10? That's a strong prediction... Bruno Cesar rose to 84 and I feel he was more important to Corinthians than Lucas to São Paulo... And São Paulo did finish mid-table, out of Libertadores I suppose? I guess 85 is too optimistic... Just my two cents.

No offence but he's right' date=' it will be another couple of months by the time Brazil is rated and all your predictions will have changed.[/quote']I'd surmise it'll be Feb-March time when their done again. As already mentioned though, there were a few glaring omissions from the last changes and the fact the season still had 3 months to run from then should mean there's a few to go round. He's getting them from the second half of last season. I mean' date=' there's obviously some rating to be done when Lucas, key player for Sao Paulo who started more than half their games last season, is rated 75.As for Zezinho, no. Feel free to point out any where you think i've got it wrong though, you'll know better than i do. About every 6 months' date=' sept was awhile ago so expecting them in feb.[/quote']Back end of Feb-March i thought as well. Lucas to 85? A +10? That's a strong prediction... I guess 85 is too optimistic... Just my two cents.[/quote']You could very well be right, but from the games i saw and the match reports (plus his minutes played), he's been one of the key men for Sao Paulo. Also, i was really surprised he didn't get an increase last time around, probably to 80, so i think in effect he'll get two ratings worth of change in one go here. Plus SM have history in doing it. Point taken all the same though mate, it might still be a touch optimistic. Richard Osborne

Cheers:) I think he might only get a +2 at most, probably + 1. He had 16 starts and 8 sub appearances which totaled 1625 minutes for the season, he got a slight increase in September to 82 and i don't think he'll go much higher than 84 without more minutes. Any rises? Should i keep hold of them? Lucas Fernando may get a +2 to 80. He's got just over 400 minutes to his name for the season so probably wont go higher this time around. Dudu is a slightly harder one to call. He spent the season at Coritiba (who won the league by the way) and got a total of 1200 minutes playing time. He didn't however score at all and thats a little worrying as he plays in an attacking midfield role of the primarily. I can't say for sure how he performed there in all honesty, but he got a good number of minutes for a league winning side so must have been doing something right. I think he may get a jump to 80. Both are keepers for me though.

Alurcard 4,067
Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions Do you think Alecsandro Barbosa will keep his 89 rating? He might, 1400 minutes and 9 goals isn't a bad return, but he's towards the upper end of the scale for the league so its possible he might drop 1.

I also like Tinga, looks like he'll be a shoe-in for Europe at some point. Mithyue could also be one to watch, I think he came from a Futbol background (similar to 5-a-side) so has excellent control, hasn’t made the break through yet though.
