Re: offical Golf thread

How those mcilroy do it.

Projected cut line +3, so he might just scrape in.

McDowell, Dustin Johnson, Darren Clarke, Jason Day, Kaymer All Miss Cut

With Possibly Woods Added to that......

Was talking about his wrist.

The cut line will push up one or two by the end of day.

Re: offical Golf thread

Just listening to Butch, when showing Tiger. Seems pretty confident he'll be back "because its Tiger". I'm rather skeptical as to whether we'll ever see the old Tiger back. I've always been one to favour the underdogs. Obviously apart from the Irish, my favourite golfers would be Garcia and Stenson, and even Villegas. However, its just not the same without Tiger up there, is it? :o His swing has been somewhat off the mark at times, while his ball striking has been pretty inconsistent. Of course, thats to be expected, having not played for some time, but will we ever see that hunger return? I certainly hope so, but can't help but have my doubts.

Hes trying but can't reclaim his old form. His putting seems to gotten weaker and costs him holes.Good technique with the putter consists of having a correct grip, setup, and alignment -so if its his alignment due to injury he may need to do remedial work like Vijay Singh did a couple years back.
