Magic J 10,640
Re: Gold Championship 6 Liverpudlian Update ! New Liverpool signing is a Argentine international Liverpool have signed the magnificent Argentine creative midfielder Gonzalez for 35 million pounds plus Sami Hypia. Johnson felt his midfield lacked depth, and the signing of such a good player will do wonders for the teams morale. Gonzalez is now reunited with former Porto team mate Quaresma. Risse now looses his place in the starting 11 with Quaresma switching to left midfield and Gonzalez going on the right. Steven Gerrard is expected to return from his injury in 7 days time, when he does, Liverpool will be able to boast one of the best midfield's in the world. League Update Liverpool lie top of the stack after 6 games, winning 5 and loosing one. The victories have come against Wigan, Everton, Fulham, Tottenham and West Brom. There only defeat of the season so far came against Portsmouth. 1LIVERPOOL 6 5 0 1 14 4 10 15 2 Newcastle United 6 5 0 1 12 7 5 15 3 Aston Villa 6 4 2 0 16 8 8 14 4 Fulham 6 4 0 2 12 6 6 12 5 Blackburn Rovers 6 4 0 2 16 13 3 12 6 Portsmouth 6 3 2 1 9 6 3 11 7 Birmingham City 6 3 2 1 7 7 0 11 8 Tottenham Hotspur 6 3 1 2 12 11 1
Magic J 10,640
Re: Gold Championship 6 Liverpool off to a flying start ! Liverpool 1 - 0 Newcastle Liverpool latest victory of title challengers Newcastle puts them with a strangle hold over the league. Johnson named a unchanged team from Wednesdays win against Blackburn. The game was really dominated by Liverpool who had just over 20 shots and just short of 60% possession. Newcastle did have some attacks but none of them developed into a serious threat. The only goal of the game came in the second half on 74 minutes when a brilliant through ball left Di Natalie with only the keeper to beat. He confidently finished it and won the game for Liverpool. 1 LIVERPOOL 9 8 0 1 20 7 13 24 2 Fulham 9 6 1 2 20 11 9 19 3 Aston Villa 9 5 3 1 21 13 8 18 4 Reading 9 6 0 3 25 18 7 18 5 Blackburn Rovers 9 5 1 3 20 17 3 16 6 Birmingham City 9 4 4 1 9 8 1 16 7 Portsmouth 9 4 3 2 12 8 4 15 8 Newcastle United 9 5 0 4 13 11 2 15 That win see's Liverpool create a healthy lead, more great news is that Steven Gerrard has recovered from his injury and will play this Wednesdays league game. GeorgeECFC 4,430
Re: Gold Championship 6 With Fenerbache now out of both the Mediterranean Cup and Shield (of which they were holders), they can now concentrate on securing a top 2 finish, and a place in the SMFA Champions Cup, where they belong. The previous two games have seen a 1-0 win over Sporting and a 2-1 win over Olympiacos which have seen them move 2nd, and just two points behind leaders AEK Athens. Also, George recently made a move in the transfer market for a striker after the recent injury troubles they have been having. Therefore Giocomance Kleber joined from Dynamo Kyiv for £10million. GeorgeECFC 4,430
Re: Gold Championship 6 Fenerbache keep 2nd spot with a 2-1 home win against Benfica. Nuno Gomes put the away side in front after 20 minutes, but Fenerbache came back strong just before half time, with 2 goals in 2 minutes, from Craig Bellamy and Sanli Tuncay. After 18 games of the season gone, Fenerbache are 2 points off top spot, and 2 points ahead of 3rd Panathinaikos. leamingtonsteve
Gazza MUFC 2,082
Re: Gold Championship 6 After The Sacking From Zaragoza Derby County soon jumped on the job-less Gazza Thomas and offerd him a job he couldnt refuse and Gazza says the main reason he joined was "i was brought up in derby and i want to repay the fans in and out derbyshire" So its half way through the season and derby are struggling,Gazza has signed 3 players in as many days and put the in the squad for tonights match against brighton. Transfers In [NO IMAGE AVALIBLE] Lucas BARRIOS signes from celta vigo for £9,000,000 and at 22 will surly be a hit for the next 6 years...AT LEAST Lars Ricken joins from Bordeaux and will slot straight into the defence.. the fans said his experience will hoefully rub off on the other players and labled it as *signing of the season* Manuel Belleri joins from italian club lazio and like the other 2 signins.. will go straight into the derby squad, but manager Gazza Thoams is unsure weather to play him in defence or midfield Gazza Thomas also issued only a win is exceptable against a poor time like brighton and if we lose.. i will drop all first team players for the next match

DP 91 969
Re: Gold Championship 6 Henry set to leave Real It has been confirmed that Real will be taking any offer's of 2 part exchange players for Thierry Henry's services. Real are looking for strength in numbers as they push for the title this season. They currently sit in 2nd place in the table after a few recent draws. We are preferably looking for the services of 90+ players including at least one striker. We are open for all offer's but straight cash deals will be rejected or ignored.
