Re: Gold Championship 6

Sevilla 1-5 Valencia

Leaving his star players out of the Spanish cup seemed to be a good move for Valencia manager Bryan Adamson whos side ran out easy winners against Sevilla.

Sevilla took the lead in the 11th minute through Julien Escude. Valencia drew level within 3 minutes through a mistake was pounced on by Sanchez Joaquin. Valencia scored again through Fernando Morientes (2), David Villa and David Aabelda.

The win leaves Valencia in 5th position in the Spanish league table their next game is against Shakhtar Donetsk in the SMFA cup.

No problem mate :)

Shakhtar Donetsk 2 - 3 Valencia

Battle of the forumers tonight with my Valencia away to Navs Shakhtar. Shakhtar took the lead in the 8th minute when Dario Srna thundered the ball into the open goal. David Villa drew the away side level when he skippedinside the defence and scored from 25 yards out. Shakhtar took the lead again when Dario Srna got his second of the game when he volleyed the ball into the back of the net. David Villa got his second of the game to make the score 2-2 when he pounced on the poor communication in the Shakhtar defence to score. The defence fell asleep again and the ball was casually rolled into the net by Edu who won the 3 points for Valencia and was later voted man of the match for his efforts.

Valencia now have 6 points in the group after winning tonights game

Three wins in six for Wolves has them in 14th place.

Leicester move off the bottom and into 18th after winning a five goal thriller with Derby who move down to 19th. Ipswich fall to the bottom even though they drew with Burnley.

Re: Gold Championship 6

Valencia 3 - 0 Recreativo Huelva

Valencia win again to keep their hopes of winning the Spanish league alive but with Zaragoza 12 points ahead of them any more slip-ups could cost Valencia dearly.

The first of tonights goals came in the form of the ball being rolled into the net by Fernando Morientes. Jaime Gavilan started his first league game of the season for Valencia tonight and managed to score a goal when he found space from 15 yards out and finished well. The third goal came from Ruben Baraja who smashed the ball into the roof of the net with venom.

The win leaves Valencia in third place in the Spanish table, their next game is against Cádiz in the Spanish shield third round, it will be a safe bet that Valencia manager Bryan Adamson will put out his youngsters to play in that game.

Management Shock!!!

Paul Thame has sensationally quit the Israeli club Maccabi Haifa and takes over the vacant job role at the mighty Liverpool! News also says that the old Liverpool manager Grant Thame has taken over Division Four club Accrington Stanley.
