Fulham lose 2-0 to Hancock's Bolton.

Bolton keeper Tim Krul MOTM... not sure how none of our 19 shots on goal didn't manage to sneak in :( We go again Wednesday needing our first win this season.

Absolutely destroy Hereford' date=' oh wait no it's a draw. You have got to be kidding me!

Every match in every setup I batter the oppo and end up losing or drawing. Taking the p i double s now.[/quote']

I went looking at the match stats for curiosity and you did not destroy Hereford mate... Your team was better, but the draw is nothing extraordinary. i wonder what you will call it when you actually have 65%+ possession and 30 shots or something and still don't win :D

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

New update:

Over the past few months we have listened to our communities feedback regarding the SMFA. Along with this feedback we have also analysed the reports that have come in in great detail. Due to this we have made numerous changes to the SMFA that will address the concerns that our community has raised and it will also by more dynamic and tailored to specific Game Worlds as we understand that each one is different.

Cracking news, now to see what happens with it in place.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Rightyo,

As many of you have been aware and have shown interest by getting in touch over the last 3-4 days, i've had the Chelsea job on offer.

Normally, under normal circumstances i would jump at the chance of managing a talented squad like what Chelsea have.

However, due to personnal reasons over the last 4-5 weeks i've hardly be on and around SM and my SM time has been very limited. After giving it a long hard think over the last 3-4 days. I just could'nt commit to what a team like Chelsea needs currently. Having been in this GW since 2011 and have respect for the GW it would be unwise for me to take on the challenge currently.

So after 183 games at 3rd Division Walsall, i am staying at Walsall, i like to think that i've built my own little team i really like and have an interest for.

Normally i would jump at the challenge of taking on a Chelsea in a forum GW like this, that in fact due to my limited online time currently and change in personal life and respect for the GW. I could'nt offer what is needed right now.

I've handed over the job to a who i think will do a great job and i respect as a manager, and not just giving Chelsea over to any old idoit who will possibly ruin the team, That manager is Will Trafford, who was currently managing Millwall.

Best of luck to Will at Chelsea.

Regards

Mark

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Hi lads,

I have been away for a week and after just logging back on today i have found out that a friend of mine thought it would be "funny" to deactivate my account which had saved my details on the log in page .

Turns out he was to drunk to remember how to deactivate the account (he used to be a member himself) so went for the next best thing and deleted all the remaining clubs i had on SM.

Although i hadn't enjoyed SM for a couple of months i had no intention of leaving the gameworld that i had been in for almost 2 years and was planning on a rebuild for the chelsea side i had.

If a job becomes available again could someone please let me know as i would love to jump back in to the GW and am happy to be in a bottom division side again like i was with Burton.

When Mark offered me the chance to take the Chelsea job there was little I could do. A fantastic club and a fantastic squad in one of the best setups.

I am sad to leave Millwall, I personally think that the squad is a little cracker for someone to take over.

There will be lots of transfers and changes and I will post on these when I decide what to do.

So if you like someone then do make a bid or PM me.

Don't worry about it man, these things happen and serves me right for leaving my laptop with my mate :D

Luckily i logged on at a good time as Marcos had a division 4 side on offer so i snapped it up instantly and i am just glad to still be in the set up, i will admit myself with being away a few times and not being on much i was neglecting the chelsea job from the minute i took over so i am just glad that despite what happened its gone to a good and respected manager.

I intend to be move active again now and have renewed my gold membership as when it comes to money if it involves an investment that means i am invested in putting the time in :D

One thing i will say though and i hope no one gets bad feelings towards me but if the burton albion manager does eventually leave my old team, i would be looking to take that job as its one of the most fun teams i have had in any GW i have been in and found it difficult at the time to leave them for Chelsea.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Who said this job was cursed?

OFFSIDE - The celebrations are cut short by the officials who spotted BENZEMA a yard offside.
Red Card - The referee has no choice but to send off MOUTINHO.

MOUTINHO catches ARÁNGUIZ with his elbow.

Thankfully in amongst all of that we managed to score 5 goals and win 5-2 :D.

Well played Stewart, when you got it back to 2-2 and I knew a red card was coming I feared the worst!

Ach just our luck to get Chelsea when the players are going all out to impress the new boss - good luck with them!

Having gone all season undefeated (!) we'll look to bounce back quickly, it'd help if SM would get a shift on with reviewing Neto, Caldirola, Aranguiz, Quaresma and all the others I'm hoping might/ should rise.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

A brace from the Dane Free-Kick specialist made sure that Southampton scored their first win of the season.

We have done brilliant tonight, need to build on this, we prefer to play catch up, its boring being the meat, we want to be the lion chasing it.

Everyone who doesn't change the team should begin to struggle with fatigue. As we rested and took the loss hopefully we can regain this once it takes full effect on opposition.

Right then, so I have had time to get my feet under the table.

After talking to the boys, the following players are for sale:

Iniesta: Class player but the wages are too much for Div Two.

De Rossi: Mr Roma. Wages wise I have to let him leave. A winger would be ideal.

Ramires: Would really like a winger for him.

Evra: Still a class player, but am open to all offers.

Nani: Moyes leaving was the best thing that could happen to him. Open to offers.

Cristaldo: A stylish player, I would accept cash.

Felipe Anderson Top youngster but a top cash offer would get him.

Shotton, Marrone, Erick Torres and Araujo can all leave for cash.

Make any bids you like guys or feel free to PM me.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Blackpool drew 1-1 with West Brom on Wedensday and drop to 15th without a league win. Although a great 5-1 win at Monaco the night before.

Also had a nice rise for Enzo Perez from 89 -> 90. Well worth the £9mill paid now :D
