Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Queens Park Rangers beat Tranmere Rovers 4 - 1 in their Division 3 fixture.

Siqueira scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Raffael and Bacca were also amongst the goalscorers.

Impressive win for us tonight over Division 3 leaders Tranmere Rovers. Our tactical change for this match worked perfectly. We were slightly stronger statistic wise, so it was indeed a deserved win. Back to back wins for us, really happy with this. We left relegation zone and we sit 19th now with 19 points, 1 point per game :P We want more.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

A thrilling match ended 3 - 3 between Swindon Town and Morecambe in their Division 3 encounter.

A cracking game at County Ground against a very in-form Morecambe side who are having a great season under their new manager.

Had a feeling this would be a tough match and so it wasn't too surprising that the visitors took an early lead through Delgado Nono. 5 minutes later Nono scored a second with a penalty after Fernandes was judged to have fouled Hartherz in the box.

Dieumerci Mbokani pulled one back for us just before half time & shortly after the break set up Christian Noboa to even things up.

It wasn't long before Morecambe were back in front though. This time from a free-kick that Marsman couldn't deal with.

Noboa scored a great header to make it 3-3 and in the last 20 minutes we upped the tempo in an attempt to get the winner.

However, Morecambe defended well and, even though the ball rarely left their half, every Swindon attack was stopped by their GK.

Happy with a point even though it means we drop out of the play off places and with a trip to league leaders Tranmere Rovers next it could be a tough week for the Robins!!

Slight scare' date=' but we deservedly nicked a late winner. Good stuff boys, Oscsr making an imediate impact :)[/quote']

Hahaha.... You were lucky... I nearly had you.... :D:D

My hard tackling defensive counter attacking tactics nearly had you when Erdling scored with 7 mins left to draw level

Will have to set it to aggressive next time lol

EC 7777 FA Youth cup

fa_youth_cup.jpg

Its time for the kids in the acadamies to shine as EC 7777 hosts its second youth competition. Instead of group phases and knockout stages to crown a champion we will be doing a mini league to which club boast the best talents for the future. Due to an odd number of teams it means one team will miss a game each round, but we will all play the same amount of games and against each other once :) Please send your fixtures asap (Home to sends friendly request to away team), ill give reminders if people forgot and reminders to set your teams, really hope this can be better than last seasons!

The Rules

Each team is allowed to field three senior players (Over 21) of any rating, you can not field three and sub one off for another senior. For example, Blackpool would use Iniesta, Tevez and Pepe. The rest of your team must be made up of players aged 21 or below (Can be any rating). You subs bench doesnt have to be filled with u-21s as most clubs won't have enough, but any subsitutes coming on need to be aged 21 or under.

If a player is 21 before the tournament begins (03/07/14) he will be still be considered a youth player when turning 22.

If a team fields more than three senior players, they will automatically lose 3-0. Should both teams field more than three then again both teams will get a 3-0 loss.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Blackpool have decided to sell the Former Spain International David Villa after a poor start to the season, netting just two league goals.

The Spaiynard played a big role in Blackpools first league win last season with 12 goals and 7 Man of the Match performances. He also scored and created a goal in this seasons community shield. After just one season though we feel it is best for both to part ways.

He has agreed to join Bury for £15 million after having a medical this evening. Mame Diouf was brought as a replacement a few weeks ago, ironically from Bury. We offered David Villa to many clubs, and I think he will do very well with Bury.

This reduces our wage bill alot too so a good deal for us :)

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Apologies for the delay in accepting and requesting my fixtures for the U21 Cup, I haven't had a chance to do so until today. All of my requests have now been sent out.

It'll be interesting to see how my side get on in the tournament this time after reaching the Quarter Finals last season we have now lost key players Mane and Lestienne. Luckily the two loanees Vilhena and Mbemba are eligible as without them my highest rated youth is 82.
