Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

The deal for david villa collapsed after we discovered bury tried using monopoly money to buy him.

He is still available for 15mill. He maybe playing in the mls but still a 91 for 5-6 months

If Doncaster had Millions in the bank id bite your hand off.....but we dont!

Should manage to sell him on good buy for a lower league side :D

Well we have a shoe in for team of the round!

Di Natale hammers 5 (yes 5) past Ipswich as the team manages to net 7. What a performance with 72% possession!!! :D :D :D

Oh and that was his first start for the club. Wow.

Queens Park Rangers outclassed Leicester City and beat them 4 - 3 in a thrilling Division 3 encounter.

Raffael scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Martin and Siqueira were also amongst the goalscorers.

An exciting match and a great performance from my players tonight to give us our 3rd win in a row! We're now in safe territory, 16th placed, 5 points ahead of relegation zone. I'm happy! Also, Marvin Martin scored on his debut for us :D

Marvin MARTIN has completed his move to Queens Park Rangers from Coventry City for 12,114,000 plus Wallyson MALLMANN and Stéfano YURI

marvin-martin-19092012.jpg

Talented midfielder Marvin Martin joined QPR

We managed to reach a deal for Martin with Joshua's Coventry. Martin is a good player and he will be very important for our team, considering he's 89 rated. He will be our playmaker. He already showed a little of what he can do for us, with a great goal from a free kick, decisive to our win.

QPR is also ready for U21 competition. We don't have many players available, but we will be able to put in a competitive and legal first eleven i believe. All our fixtures are arranged now. We got a bye in first round, so we will only debut at 6th July vs Charlton at home.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Really looking forward to the opening fixtures of the FA Youth Cup tonight. Remember if your in it to use a maximum of three senior players aged over 21 (You can use just under 21s if you would like).

Blackpool host Aldershot in the opening game. Carlos Tevez will captain the side just like last season, Theo Walcott is the other senior player starting in tonights match. The youngstest starter is 19 year old Remi Walter, the young Frenchman arrived at the Blackpool academy last season after impressing for Nancy and he is one I have alot of hope for in the future.

Tonights fixtures (Kick-off 20:00)

Crewe v Stoke

Shorpe v Carlisle

Blackpool v Aldershot

Sheffield United v Arsenal

Charlton v Manchester United

Barrow AFC v AFC Bournemouth

Best of luck to everyone. I should have tables up tonight, or the very latest tomorrow as I need to do team of the round too tonight :P

The player of the round goes to Southend winger Chori Castro!!!!

castro.jpg

Was a very tough decision, and Chelseas Antono Di Natale can feel very unlucky after smashing five goals past Ipswich. However Castro was even more impressive with his man of the match display lifting Southend to the top of Division 5. It took him a minute to open the scoring from a free-kick. He then created the second and scored the third from another free-kick. In the 50th minute Castro made it 5-0 and completed his hat-trick by smashing the ball into the top corner. A further three assists from the Uruguayan sealed an 8-0 win over Burton.

A disappointing 1-1 draw with Gillingham, we bossed the game but couldn't get the winner, we tried and thought we had when Peralta scored late on but it was ruled offside, Gillimgham keeper man of the match.

Still pottering around just above the drop-zone.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Blackpool 2-0 Preston

Blackpool fielded a weakened side ahead of the shield fourth round on Monday, with 21 year old Gustavo Gomez (82) making his premier league debut in defence.

Handanovic (91)

Gomez (82) Ranocchia (90) Telles (86)

Bruma (85) Silva (86) Danilo (89) Perez (90) Deulofeu (87)

Diouf (89) Walcott (91)

Surprisingly the youngsters dominated the game, restricting Preston to just six shots whilst creating 20 of our own. It took a late brace from Theo Walcott to seal the win, who captained the side for the first time tonight.

Up to 6th and unbeaten in five after our mid-season break, and somehow only four points off the top

The player of the round goes to Gateshead goalkeeper Robles Joel!!!!

Very rare that a goalkeeper wins this award (I think this is only the second time) but Joel performed fantasticly between the sticks against a very strong Bradford side. The Russians at Bradford were dominating the game, creating an impressive 32 chances and 15 of them shot being on target. Robles Joel denied them all to keep a clean sheet. His heroics allowed Gateshead to go on and win the game in the second half 2-0.

Charlton 3-1 Hull

Charlton get back to winning again with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers. Vasquez, Petersen, and Barnetta were the goalscorers. Unfortunately, Pocognoli got sent off after a high challenge on Dimitri Payet. He will now miss the next 3 matches.

Yeovil suffer a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Brentford . We need to put some kind of run together fast or we will blow the great start to the season we had.

We have moved into the transfer market for the first time this season,

Liam Ridgewell is sold to Portland Timbers for £6.8m, with this money we have cleared our debt and managed to bring 2 players into the club and have some funds still in the bank.

The player who have joined the club are, Cezario Danilo from Goias and Matheus Biteco from Gremio.

Rodríguez scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Lampard and Taiwo were also amongst the goalscorers.

Great win, been a good season so far with a limited squad and suffered alot of injurys, thanks to the guys that have loaned players.

Have sold Immers to external and cleared debt, possibly bring in a few new faces in the coming week
