The match ended 1 - 1 between Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn Rovers in their Division 3 fixture.

Bravo had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

Raffael was on the scoresheet for his side.

A pretty balanced match last night vs Blackburn ended up in a fair draw for both teams. Goalkeepers Claudio Bravo and Steve Mandanda (who are also captains of their teams) were the best players on the field, not giving too many chances to the strikers. This draw put an end on our great run of 5 wins in a row! We're now unbeaten for 6 still :P We sit 15th, only 9 points from 3rd place. We want to keep improving our position in the table and, who knows, maybe reach play-off zone in future!

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

I think this'll be my last season as Bolton manager. Have built a good team but just not spending enough time on the club to make them perform as they should. I will stay till the end of the season to have one last go at promotion but after that I will almost certainly be quitting. Hopefully when I quit the next person can do a better job than I have (which should be quite easy haha)

Just want some advice. I have a 7.2m debt, should I sell a player(s) or just leave it as it is for the next manager to decide which player he wants to get rid of?

It's a shame to see you go,hopefully you'll have more time in future to make a comeback. If i can give you some advice,i think it's better to keep all of your current players and decide what the next manager should do

The big center forward is enjoying a second season in division 2, the highest level he has played at so far. In Saturdays game he scored a hat-trick against a very strong Forest Green Rovers side, with two coming from excellently placed free-kicks. Bony also set up the fourth goal in a 4-0 win. Bony is well on the way to beaten last seasons tally of 13 league goals and 11 assists, this season he has already notched up 10 goals and 8 assists in 16 games.

Carlisle United Secure Historic Quarter Final Place... x2

After a resounding 6-0 win away at Yeovil, Carlisle have secured a quarter final place in the English Shield having secured the same fate in the English Cup only last week.

Today's win set a new club record.

In the last 8 of the Cup we will face the big boys of 7777: Blakpool. Whereas in the Shield it will be a battle between the two lowest ranked sides when we play Eastbourne.

I am very excited for the next two Mondays and happy that whilst all this is happening; we're also having a respectable debut season in the third division.

Carlisle United Secure Historic Quarter Final Place... x2

Well done mate, I can't remember the last time I saw a team reach the Quarter-finals of both cups in the same season!! I wish you the best of luck in both competitions.

In the league my Swindon & your Carlisle seem to be having similar fortunes. We started off well and were in the play-off zone for a while but have slowly lost the pace and are now sitting mid-table with yourselves.

Of the other two clubs that were promoted with us Tranmere are enjoying a fantastic season but, unfortunately, Hartlepool seem to be having a hard time of it..

Still, we are only halfway through the season so plenty of points left to play for. My objective this season is a top-half finish, get my squad looking how I want it and build enough finances so we can have a bit of consistency next season without having to constantly sell/buy players.

Should be simple enough...... ( as General Custer once said when he told his men to surround all those Indians.. ;) )

Looking forward to our match, our first official match which is always nice to face a new team :)

Great achievement on reach two last 8 cups whilst keeping good league form.

Big game at the top of the Premier league tomorrow, with Blackpool (4th) Travelling to White Hart Lane to face Spurs (2nd). Winner could go top :D

Hull City 1-0 Stockport County

A very pleasant victory against my former club. Goran Pandev with the goal that sees us through to the quarter finals of the Shield which has set us a juicy tie against Plymouth

Although this is nice, survival remains the main aim of the season

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Blackpool somehow lose 6-1 to spurs despite taking an early lead and creating more chances.

Adriano picked up a 5 week injury to make things worse, along with iniesta who is out for 2 weeks in our last match.

Atleast thosr around me dropped points again so still in the title race :) hoping 85 rate paulo oliveira joins us, my bid looks the highest but p/e values so dodgy

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

22 year old Center Back Paulo Oliveira joins Blackpool from FC Utrect for £7.6 million. A steep fee for a player who will be fifth choice at the club, but he has a very bright future and if he gets into the first team of Sporting (Very good chance he will) then the fee will be worth it. Have four very good young cbs now in Oliveira (85), Helander (83), Moore (83) and Gomez (82).

Oliveria is available for loan, only to a club where he will start/improve the team.

May sell one of Helander or Moore to recoup some of the cash, if anyones interested in either send me a PM :)

Swansea City beat Carlisle United 5 - 3 in a thrilling Division 3 encounter.

Kolarov scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Rodriguez and Bennett were also amongst the goalscorers.

The win pushes us up to 4 the on the table 7 points behind first place.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Just been looking through the player market to see whats going on as i have rejoined Burton Albion after the last manager left.

As i was going through i was checking certain players to get an idea of the transfer listed price when i clicked on a player i had bought before with Burton so thought why not have a look at his price range.

As i clicked on it i suddenly said to myself "erm ....... erm ......... :O"

Genuinely speechless and not sure what to make of this for many reasons. Not sure if it has been mentioned on here before or not but that bid makes absolutely no sense to me at all lol
