Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Bury beat Chesterfield 3 - 1 in their Division 4 fixture.

Kurtič scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Schwegler and Livermore were also amongst the goalscorers.

Beating a team who could have gone on top of my Bury tonight gives me a nice hope for a good end to the season, my squad has been up and down the league all season long but now the back end of it is here, four points off the play offs hope that my team can now make the final push for promotion that I am so wanting after being at the club now 72 games. Next up 2nd place Port Vale were a point would be more the happy to be taken away from that game. The next three games are a killer seven points wanted for me so all fun in the hunt on that front.

Given is leaving to cut more wages here at Bury and also try to help us back into the green witch is ever gasping away from our club.

Robiniho + Cvitanich can leave for cash the duo are being used in first team football here but have replacements for there roles waiting in the lines.

Xandao can also leave he has been a big part to my squad since taking over playing 50 of my 72 games in charge but the Brazilian can leave for a cash sum around the 8-10m mark.

A huge thanks to Sirmarkhughes, JHM and Dom for helping me out. The squad looks really strong and I'm excited to get to work.

The player of the round goes to Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure!!!!

yaya.jpg

So far this has been an excellent season for the Ivorian. He inspired City in the second half after trailing 1-0 at the break to Newcastle. In the 46th minute an excellent placed header drew City level. Yaya gave City the lead shortly after with a beautiful free-kick. Lighting struck twice as Toure completed his hat-trick with a second free-kick flying into the top corner. The game ended 3-1. Those three goals make it 14 in the league this season for Toure, a personal best for him and is now in second in the golden boot race!

,4 gol against the team that last year won the championship

just my opinion:)

congratulations for the effort for the synthesis of the day:)

It was close, I use a points system for goals and i give midfielders 2 more points for a goal than a striker (7 for midfielders, 5 for strikers), so Toure won by a point :)

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Not great news from my QPR:

Queens Park Rangers slumped to a 1 - 0 defeat against Wigan Athletic in their Division 3 fixture.
Unfortunately, Guilherme SIQUEIRA has been badly injured (7 weeks) during the last game.

We're still in the play-off zone, but there's a lot of teams chasing us closely and our form droped in the last matches. Only 1 point from the last 3 league matches. Now we lost Guilherme Siqueira, one of our most important players, for the rest of the season... It definitely wont be easy, but we will fight hard to keep our place in top 6 until the end of this season!

Blackpool 4-2 Leeds

Good to get back to winning ways, and we leap frog our opponents with his win. Salomon Rondon seems to have found his feet now in the Premier league with the opening goal, making it six goals in the last three games.. Grosskreutz and Ronaldo put Leeds ahead on the hour. Tevez equalised for Blackpool. Subsitute Mame Diouf found games harad to come by since joining, but an assist for Perez's goal and a goal for himself late on puts him in contention for the next match.

Up to 9th, two points off the top 4.

Queens Park Rangers beat Stoke City 2 - 1 in their Division 3 fixture.

Suso and Darder were amongst the goalscorers.

A late but deserved win for us last night! We were loosing 1-0 at 75', but from the bench came two young spanish talents that won the match for us! Suso and Darder had an immediate impact and both scored! We were the better team on the field and it was deserved. Stoke's goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer was MOTM! Important win to keep our 6th place!

The player of the round goes to Oldhams Italian legend

Francesco Totti!!!!

totti.jpg

This is the second time Totti has won player of the round, the first time was way back on October 26th. On Saturday he scored a hat-trick in the space of ten minutes. The opener was a precise free-kick into the top corner. Four minutes later he pulled the same trick again, leaving the keeper stranded. In the 62nd minute he completed the hat-trick with a header as Oldham went on to win 4-0 against Macclesfeld. Almost 38 years old, the Italian legend is still producing moments of magic, having his best ever season with 18 goals and 14 assists!

the right side of the defense is also being remodeled, emmerson boyce and joão amorim have left the building :)

Mr Mcdonald, not to be confused with Old Mcdonald who had a farm. Promised some new talent for Mansfield .

He is to sign Atanas Chipilov, Zeki Fryers, Patrick Burger, Ricky Shakes and Harry Bunn along with Jonnie Cheeseburglur, Alfred Onion-Ring and Dave Nuggett. Like his fries don't expect him to stick around long

Ronaldinho and Gilardino available for cash in Leyton. They used to be crucial part in my plan to get a promotion but maybe with both of them dropping maybe it's best to move them on and getting younger replacement. Really not looking much, they can still be useful player in any division
