Blackpool 3-1 Crystal Palace

Carlos Tevez was the star of the show again tonight as he played a part in all three Blackpool goals in a 3-1 win over Palace. Enzo Perez opened the scoring with his first goal of the season in the 7th minute. Tevez created that goal, and he doubled the scoring just before the hour with a delicate flick from Deulofeus cross. Tevez repayed the favour late on for Deulofeu to also get his first league goal of the campaign. Konoplyanka got a late conselation for Palace.

Up to 9th, Rochdale in the Cup on Monday :)

Swindon Town beat Crewe Alexandra 2 - 1 in their Division 2 fixture

Star of the show, Miguel Danny, again demonstrates to EC7777 that it takes more than just a weird haircut to be a great player.

The Portuguese Magico bossed the midfield in this our second local derby match in a row and opened the scoring with a sublime finish from an inch perfect chip from Ignashevich.

Dangerman Lucas Podolski managed an equaliser for the visitors but Danny's tireless assault on Noisy's defense finally saw him brought down in the box by a desperate challenge from Ogbonna that amazingly didn't even result in a yellow card.

Danny after being brought down by Ogbonna

Jermaine Defoe made sure of the penalty though to give the Robins the 3 points that sees us slowly climbing away from the relegation zone with the kind of bite and desire that has been lacking at the start of this season.

I always felt that if we could score more goals than they did, we would have a great chance of winning the match...(Manager Nicholas Fursse)

Lost 4-2 to Rochdale in the cup. I dont understand how though. Even with reserves we fielded a stronger team, they were at 75-80% fitness and we create more chances. Aswell as throwing the lead twice (Even bringing the star players on at 2-2 sees us lose)

The magic of the cup I guess. The ****** match engine is what I think :)

WBA make it 12 games unbeaten, with a 3-1 win over Fulham in the cup.

Goals from Jairo,Romao and Menez do enough to see of the Londoners.

Blackpool up next will be a tough game but looking for a win to take us into the break.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

With us struggling to get to grips with the top flight we have made a move in the transfer market to secure the services of Luiz Gustavo of Arsenal.

Joshua Guilavogui and Davie Selke will move to the emirates and Luiz Gustavo will join up at the Macron, not sure if we are getting the best of the deal but Gustavo will definitely fit well into our defence.

With Gustavo coming in we will now sell Moisander he has just signed a pre-contract with Sampdoria, available for 8.5 million, will ship him off to external if no interest.

SOLD to OXFORD for £7 mill and young Bosnian talent Gojak, nice easy dealing with a £7.5M opening offer negotiated to £7.5M & Gojak with a final negotiation of £7M & Gojak, hope he does well for you.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Well this is a little concerning: we have only scored 9 goals from 9 league games this season. The attackers need to pull their weight a little as the defence have been superb (other than in the 6-1 thrashing last month).

Open to offers for the three attackers Dzeko (92), De Jong (89), and Vucinic (89) to try and remedy the situation.

Sheffield United 1 - 1 Manchester United

Always a decent point against Man Utd, but probably deserved more.

At the Div 1 break now, and I am really pleased how the season has started. Only lost once in the league and have qualified in for the knockout stages of the the SMFA Champs Cup.

We play Zenit next Tuesday in a match that will decide who tops the group. It is actually quite important that it is us, as we would like to avoid English opposition in the next round.

WBA continue their unbeaten streak to 15 games with a 2-2 draw against Blackpool.

Probably a fair result with Blackpool having having a bit more possession and WBA having more shots.

Really pleased to be second going into the break.

Looking to do some internal business if anyone is interested in a deal, drop me a pm or make an offer.

Swindon Town slumped to a 1 - 0 defeat to Sunderland in their Division 2 fixture

Played Sunderland 4 times now since reaching Div 2 and lost all 4. The Black Cats fielded a weaker side due to their Monday cup tie so I really thought that we might get something out of this one but, apart from a Defoe effort ruled offside, we failed to make the most out of the chances we created.

Some big transfer news for us though as earlier this week we completed the signing of 90 rated Alan Dzagoev from premiership outfit Leeds Utd in a deal that saw £11.5m in used banknotes and Whabi Khazri depart the other way to Elland Road.

34265.jpg

Alan might look like a character out of the Beano but actually he is one of Russia's most creative midfielders and we hope he will provide some much needed support for our main playmaker, Miguel Danny.

Dzagoev is the second 90 rated player we have in our squad now and I am happy that my Chairman is matching his aspirations for the club by loosening up the purse strings (okay, he needed a little persuasion but when he recovers he will know it makes sense).

The Russian international will be set off the leash against Gillingham.

An exciting 3-3 draw for us against Palace.

New signing Gustavo (1 week) and De Bruyne (3 weeks) both pick up injuries.

We bring in Saviet for £7.5M as a third choice striker.

Back to back draws in the league is maybe a sign we are starting to get things together in the top flight, we will see haha.

Good game. so close to beating you. We have a massive game final group game against you in the Europa League on Tuesday, the loser will be out (Unless Bordeaux don't win).

A dissapointing start to the season going into the break for Blackpool. Sitting in 10th, a title challenge will have to wait to next season as 11 points seems impossible to catch even with 28 games to go. Out of the cup aswell which is which is the one trophy I really wanted to win. Defending my Shield and Europa League is all we really have to play for, and hopefully sneak into the top 4.
