Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Peterborough United 4 - 3 Walsall

I didn't expect that kind of result at all. I was playing without all my best players, because I wanted to let them rest before next, where I expect first win this season.

I was so close to first my point, but..

I'm happy that my all best players probably will be in 100% condition and Rochdale will not, so I think i can win 3 points in next game. Looking forward to that.

Oh. I'm the only on in div3 without points :(

Could of held out for a point, but yet again it just did not happen, the defence was nowhere to be seen when they struck late on. Not going to give up, lost quite of bit of will power in the process. 21st...

Great to sneak a winner, was harder with 10 men, but we managed it, 100% record! Great start to the season.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Does anyone have a 74+ GK they can loan me? You have to have 3 keepers in total as they don't let you loan the last two :( No upper limit' date=' just have to be above 74 or otherwise there's limit point as I already have a 73!

I bought a keeper but he is doing horrendously. Worst keeper form I've ever seen (in relation to the rest of the squad).

Will post in newspaper first but giving priority to anyone on here first!

I'm Tamworth btw![/quote']

You can have Budakov (rated 78, wages:£7,770 per Turn) or Lecomte (75, wages:£7,455 per Turn)

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

I wanna cry. I really really wanna cry.

Norwich held 0-0 at home to Palace. Double the amount of efforts at goal' date=' Palace didn't manage to get a shot on target eyt my keeper is M.o.M?? Explain that one SM

Still in relegation. A win will come. We deserve a win. Although knowing this game we'll be hammered all game and grab a 1-0 but if that's how it is so be it :o

Up next an away trip to Portsmouth[/quote']

I know how you feel... :(:P

It would bring your squad number below 21 apparently! Thanks for offering! Put three bids to other keepers in your league, let's hope they reply!

Pretty delighted with a point - team averaged 80 as only 3 of my first choice XI were fit enough to start (including the GK) and the rest were youths and reserves (not to rub salt into the wounds! :P:o)

The Mighty Bees 2 - 0 Bristol Rovers

Forth Consecutive win under my reign, now puts us 2nd in the league on 15pts! Woop! Woop!

This is completely against the odds so far and yes i am aware that Bristol Rovers was unmanaged, however there is still time for a bit of:

E I E I E I O,

Up the football league we go,

When we get promotion,

This is what we'll sing,

We are Brentford,

We are Brentford,

Benjo is our king...

;):D

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Beat Aldershot 1-0 in which should of been a breeze for me but my side seemed to make a meal of it :o On loan M'Poku scored the winner.

Up to 6th now, and my word its close near the top. With 17th only 3 points of a play-off spot! Tough home fixture against Port Vale next.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Uneventful 0-0 draw at Bloomfield road for Newcastle. Give Blackpool the edge but neither team showed enough adventure for the 3pts. Given their impressive start I suspect I'm the happier manager with this result? Becoming draw specialists... B)

Blackpool 0-0 Newcastle

Blackpools 100% start to the season ends, but still undefeated and get a decent draw against a strong looking Newcastle side. No new injuries aswell :D

Still top of the league on GD. Been a very good start so far. Hopefully I get back to winning ways against Wolves on Saturday

West Bromwich Albion 2-0 Wolves

The first Black Country derby of the season ends in a somewhat comfortable win for the Baggies. Goals came from Kevin Prince Boateng and Kim Kallstrom. My change to 4-2-3-1 worked as I controlled possession and scored with 2 of my 3 shots on target. 4th in the league and up next is a daunting trip up to Eastlands to take on Benzema and co.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Been a tough start to the season, First I had my league game against vale at home and I got caught out with the formations as I didnt know what they were gonna play, then after that I had 3 away Games, and after them I was sitting in 14th position, Now Ive had 2 home games, won them both 1-0 , against Stockport and Lincoln, Them sneaky wins have seen me go from 14th, to 4th ! :)

By the way Guys. Tight for time wednesdays, only on SM for 2 hours before the matchs and in them 2 hours I after select my 8 teams tactics, so dont have time for write ups on match previews, but still looking at the clubs, researching teams tactics etc, predicting results :)
