Lose 5-3 to Bottom Club Bradford.. FGS

Couldn't quite believe the result especially as we had only won 1 game beforehand, but have been unlucky in conceding late goals several times so I had a feeling a win may come.

Off the bottom and at home to Coventry tonight, lets hope for 3 more points.;)

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

Massive game for me tonight. After losing top spot and slipping to 5th after Saturday's games i'll try and pickup the pieces with a away game against Barnsley.

I have'nt won for 6 games, with 3 draws and 2 losses my past record.

Really hoping to get out of this slump.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread

I treat the Shield as the FA Cup because that finishes later :)

Yea i would concur with this. At the end of the day though they are both called the FA Cup and League Cup respectively so it will be difficult to differentiate between the two. The only other way to work it out is by the dates they finish and the payouts. I believe the payout for the shield are higher than that of the cup but dont take me on that.

Also I have been thinking how is my Chelsea team in the Champions League on this? I thought of a number of reasons:

1. Defending Champions

2. Qualification through Shield

3. Qualification through Cup

Also I was put in Group A in the CL so does this mean Chelsea is first seed.

What do you guys think?

This is massive:

Aaron Duffy (Forum) steered Leeds United to victory against fierce rivals Manchester United.

Leeds United beat Manchester United 5 - 1 in a thrilling Division 1 encounter.

Benatia scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Negredo and Grosskreutz were also amongst the goalscorers.

I'll admit they did have a few reserves out but still who cares :D

Edit:Cheers Ben, so far Leeds have defeated notabley: United, Liverpool and Arsenal(not hard back then)

Top result Duffman :)

Sean Oneill steered Everton to victory against Bolton Wanderers.

Everton outclassed Bolton Wanderers and beat them 1 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.

Torres had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

Gourcuff was on the scoresheet for his side.

Slowly getting my boys climbing up the table now after an horrific start to the season.

$#%#^$$

Good result for Leeds but bit gutted my squad changes didn't save, playing a mix of my B team & my youth squad was definitely not the team I had hoped to put out for the match, huge setback for United.
