Re: Eredivisie Discussion Thread

So' date=' Who do you think will be a champion??[/quote']

Could go eitherway. Winner will quite literally take all on final day. The cup final next weekend could play a part in the final game of the season too, whoever wins that could give them momentum going into the final day. But think ill go with Twente, de Jong to score the winner.

Cracking result for Gronigen today too, 4-2 away win against ADO Den Haag.

Re: Eredivisie Discussion Thread

I'm personally can't wait to watch a final game. It's like the real final !

Twente in pole position' date=' but if they lost they even can't get the UCL spot next season. Very interesting.[/quote']

Yeah, cup final is Ajax - Twente, and final game also is Ajax - Twente. Beautiful games :D And the Johan Cruijff Schaal also is Ajax - Twente, if Ajax or Twente win both (Cup and champion), then the cup final loser will be in the JC Schaal. :D

Re: Eredivisie Discussion Thread

All Twente need is a point. Will they go there and play for the draw? Which side will come out on top in midfield? This will be one of those rare games which is a last day title decider. :) Twente came out on top a few days ago.

I hope there will be a link to watch this game in the US. :)

Re: Eredivisie Discussion Thread

Does anyone know Nacer Chadli's real birth date?

On the Twente website it has it down as 03/06/1988 yet on his official facebook page it's 02/08/1989. Which one's the balls up? :D

Edit: SM have gone with the Twente website option.

The facebook page appears to be tied with his official website (nacerchadli.be). They obviously need to get their facts straight!

On another note, I just noticed there's an Anti-Nacer Chadli facebook page with over 2000 likes. I'm guessing that's down to him doing a U-turn on becoming a Morrocan international?

Re: Eredivisie Discussion Thread

Ajax - Eredivisie champions for the first time since 2004! Congratulations!

Considering whats been going on behind the scene with the board and Johan Cruyff, and the departures of Suarez it'll be interesting to see them build ahead of next season, especially with more players being linked with moves away and Frank De Boer being linked with the Chelsea job.

Well done to Ajax though, feel Feyenoord will be back amongst the likes of Ajax, PSV and Twente next season and hope Gronigen, AZ and ADO will make a push for the CL and automatic Europa League positions, but all three are likely to lose some bigs players (Bulykin loan ending and Matavz off to Napoli)
