He then managed Crystal Palace for 3 years, taking them to the prem in his first season in charge, then qualified for the EUROPA League in his second season.

He also had a 2 month spell as manager of Fulham in the Premier League and a 7 month spell as England U21s manager.

PRE-SEASON WORRIES FOR 'DINIHO

0,,10412~3692095,00.jpg

Birmingham City ------------ 2-2 ---------- Burnley

At a near empty Turf Moor the expectations were high for Blues despite it being Rossoldinihos first match in charge. But Rossoldinihos boys did not live up to the pre match expectations.

The night started off badly for Blues when after just 8 minutes Burnley took the the lead thanks to a Chris Iwelumo strike. But Birmingham were back in it when after less than 10 minutes since Burnleys goal loanee Craig Bellamy finished from close range. The rest of the first half was pretty even with both sides cancelling each other out. The only major talking point being Blues' Nikola Zigic missing an open goal in the 6 yard box.

All most immediantly after half time Burnleys Chris Iwelumo scored his second after a terible defensive error from the blue boys. But 3 minutes later they bounced back when new signing Marek Hamsik hit the net from the edge of the box. Blue were the better team for the rest of the half but failed to captialise on their chances.
