Re: Riferimento: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2011/2012

Someone please help with these players:

- Kolo Toure 91 (26min only, injured or relegated to the bench?)

- Dirk Kuyt 91 (9 games/6 lineups/590min of 990min)

- Malouda 92 (9 games/3 lineups/361min of 990min)

- Giggs 92 (6 games/1 lineups/196min of 990min)

They all gonna drop -1?

Thanks.

I think only Kolo Toure will drop, no doubt. Kompany and Lescott have now built a solid partnership in the city defence and I dont think Mancini will go back to the Kompany-Toure partnership this season. Even Savic is now ahead of Toure. He must drop.

Toure, Malouda and Giggs should all drop by at least 1 IMO. Kuyt could but I think he should be OK as a 91 for the time being.

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2011/2012

Would I be right to think that a rise for Dzeko this time around is quite hopeful but is a serious possibility come the next changes? (Obviously providing he maintains his current form)

Will be doing City's predictions sometime this afternoon. But yeah I'd say Dzeko's early season form has earned him a +1. Not banging in as many at the moment but that shouldn't matter :)

Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2011/2012

Joe Hart should be a certain riser.

Yaya Toure isn't a definite riser IMO.

Abdul Razak should get a small rise (77 maybe).

Edin Dzeko is an unlikely riser.

I take your views as a City fan on board but I don't see anything against a Dzeko rise? Obviously if City don't qualify for the UCL then there might be a smaller chance of him rising, though scoring as many goals as he has for a team in first place, in arguably the best league in the world, isn't an easy thing to do. I'd maybe say he'll stay 92 for the next changes but could very well be a 93 by the end of the season if he manages to get past the 20-35 goal mark.

Your the City fan so fair enough, I could be completely out of line in saying that :P

He's got a lot of goals but has caught Berbatov syndrome where you score lots of goals in single games. As consistency goes, Aguero and Balotelli have been much better. I think he could well hit 93 by the end of the season (looks like he could well hit 20+ league goals) but not these changes IMO.

Yh' date=' I get what you mean, Personally I think Luiz would be better as a Attacking Midfielder :D Hes brill at going forward but sometimes he can lack at the back, I think if he improves he could easily be a 93+ player.[/quote']

i'm back and not going any where :P

you guys serious? david luiz a good player? will be a 93 rated player? LOL. not unless he moves to a slower pace league like serie A and learns how to defend first and how to mark players. don't be bias for a player just because u have him on ur team. since he moved to chelsea, his performances has been mediocre at best. his bright spot being scoring the goal against man utd last season, but for sure not for defending.

my real frustration about him comes from my frustration with the idiots rating players at SMFA, a player like him is higly rated, while other way better

defenders than him (like gary cahil, whom i don't havve either on any of my teams) are 2-3 grades below and been there for the longest time. rating is not consistant, it needs to be better. it take sthem forever to raise the ratings of players playing out of their minds, and takes them forever to down garde rates of players playing ****. anyway after today's game against leverkuzen, the whole of chelsea's defence and peter chech too are playing like amateurs. they sure are trying their best to get AVB fired. (btw, not a chelsea fan).

You don' even have the slightest understanding as to how SM ratings work. Bad form for 6 games is not a drop. Someone playing for a team doing very badly will find it very hard to rise to 89. They usually get it right. You sir, should stop being a moron.

And yes, it is clear you are not a chelsea fan.

Well said about Luiz, he just cannot defend for the life of him, IMO he could max out at 91, thats if chelsea win the league and champions league (not looking likely) he is a liablitly and not someone i would play in any defense (even serie A!)

hey barnabyd, lets keep this debate civilized. no need for personal insults. no needto call me a moron just because i have a different opinion from you. i'll let it go this time. but just FYI, Luiz's run of bad games doesn't go back to 6 games this year. since he arrived last season and the amount and types of mistakes he does are not of a high calibre defender. and yes i know how SMFA rates players, that's why i'm frustrated about it. another example of their incosistancy: two years ago brad friedel rated at 90 (and still), aged 38and he playes for villa, not in any europian competitions and not on the USA NT, romero won the dutch league and cup and started for argentina in the world cup in 2010, and still stuck at 88.

Sorry mate you claim to understand the rating system then use a terrible example. Truly terrible. The fact im a Villa fan just makes me want to point it out to you. Using him as a inconsistency is beggers belief... he is more than worthy of his 90 rating.

Two years ago Villa were flying, on the back of two seasons where we challenged for fourth, the season your picking up Friedals rating we were FA cup semi finalists, League cup finalists and like the two seasons prior to that we finished 6th.

6th in the EPL, a league far far stronger than the tinpot league thats known as the Erdevise.

If you understood SM rating system you would appreciate the fact that they take into consideration the strength of the league according to co-efficents.

Also he played in UEFA cup for us.... make sure the points your making are factually correct.

He was also a national player and would undoubtedly be the USA number 1, he CHOSE to retire. By far the best American keeper.

The fact he was awesome since moving to us and now at Tottenham justifies his rating even more. Shocking comparison. Friedal proved himself in the worlds toughest league, consistently year after year. Romero grabs the number one Jersey for a national team with poor keepers, won a tinpot league once and you expect him to be the same rating as Friedal

Honestly...
