Re: Riferimento: Australian A-League 11/12

when sm will review Australia (i think quite soon) they're going to see last season stats: if you use to follow a-league' date=' you probably can say us a couple of risers looking at 2011 stats :D[/quote']

Not sure about this as it was reviewed 3 games before the end of the regular season and then the final series which only goes 3-4 more weeks.

Although the last years A-League best player Marcos Flores is rated at 78 but has since moved to china. Ivan Franjic is another that is rated 78 and probs should be higher.

The only players i would say really worth nabbing are the youngsters which i will add to the top. Last years kids that left for overseas were Robbie Kruse, Matthew Leckie and Luke Devere. Who should rise in the bigger leagues.

Also the the teams that played off in the grandfinal were Brisbane Roar and Central Coast Mariners.

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

Not sure how serious SM takes these player changes but if they wanted to make an accurate reflection then the majority of the Brisbane Roar players deserve to be at least 2 points higher than the league average.

key players like Paartalu, Nichols, Franjic etc deserve to get a +4/5 but it won't happen since McKay only got a +1 to 83 in the scottish changes.

Some good risers especially Brown and Jurman. Standouts have been Nichols(78) and Ryan (77) after 2 games. These two will be overseas in a couple of years

Spot on, the Roar are a class above most of the competition. I would like to think that an every week starter in the A-League would be a minimum of 80. The League has definetly gone up a notch in quality thus far.

Will be interesting to see what SM does with Kewell and Emertons rating snow they are in the A-League

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

Nice to see another Aussie on the forum

Had a thread while back of allowing forumers to ask me any questions on Australian football but it was never that active.

Don't mean this in a mean why but I can't take an A-League thread seriously if it doesn't mention Mustafa Amini. Yes he is injured but he is in line for a big rise with his move to Dortmund.

Also worth adding the likes of Mitch Nichols, Visconte, Scott Neville,

Spot on. Basically a bit early to make predictions but yes Amini is a good talent and will be talked about im sure when SM announce this league to be reviewed.

I actually did start adding in a few like Nichols etc... but for some reason when editing everything was deleted and i had to start again.

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

Good update

still have to cry out for Mitch Nicols and Iain Ramsay to be added to it even though they are 22.

I might add the Under 23's soon... looking over the squads there are a few 22 yr olds who look like rising.

Yup. Your list is great but theres just a few of those tricky 22/23 year olds that are getting minutes.

As someone also said it might be handy to somehow incorporate their minutes from most of last season if its possible to give a better idea of the rise they could be in

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

Updated to the end of Round 3.

If someone is looking for the next matt McKay - went from Brisbane to Australian International team and one of the best players at the Asian Cup to Scottish Rangers i would look at buying

Erik Paartalu 25yrs (78) CM/DM - Could rise + 3/4 and more with a move back to Europe

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

Would add an assist to Antonis.

Had a brilliant game against Adelaide. This kid will be something special

I'm betting clubs will be after him at the end of the season. Cahill will get into Everton's ears. ;) He's go well at a quality Spanish club too.

Three great performances so far for him.

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

For anyone interested, Brisbane Roar's unbeaten streak of 32 games was extended last night with a 7-1 thrashing of Adelaide United.

All there starting XI should be rated 80+ so if anyone is looking for players look at the Roar's as a starter

Berisha's 4 goals was brilliant. Makes brilliant runs that guy and then just has to get the ball take a a touch or two and score. He has 6 goals in 4 games for Roar now. But players like Mitch Nichols, Eric Paartalu, Ivan Franjic should all be looking at decent rises. Broich is rated 82 but think he really deserves an 83/4.

They are brilliant to watch

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

Only managed to watch the first half of the Perth - Central Coast game and it was very sloppy. In saying that 2 Under 23's made an impact with Ibini's goal and Scott Neville's assist.

Scott Neville had a trial with Portsmouth before the season start hopefully he can play better this year and earn an overseas contract. I believe thats his ambition.

Re: Australian A-League 11/12

Ye match finished 2-1. Heated match with lots of yellow cards. Highlight was Burns' shot that went out the ground and hit a car.

Sydney FC and Melbourne Heart are 0-0 at half time. Sydney FC have dominated the match but.

Terry Antonis got another start and Rhyan Grant came off the bench already as captain Terry McFlynn picked up an injury.

Sydney have dominated and just missing a goal
