Re: The Official NBA Thread

Jeremy Lin take a bow son! NBA's very own Tim Tebow! :D

More like the Victor Cruz of Basketball!!

To put 38 on the Lakers, wow thats insane!! When he broke out against the Nets i was a bit dubious that this was a flash in the pan, but after 3 more wins where he has been instrumental in us finally realising our potential i think he's definitely for real!!

What makes it even better is that this is without our two star players, so when Melo and STAT get back this team is going to kick ass :D

Who needs Baron Davis when you have Jeremy Lin :P

Re: The Official NBA Thread

Raptors are the most unluckiest team in the NBA.

Control arguably the best team in the NBA in their own court for 48minutes. A chance to win it before the OT. And then lose in OT by the last second putback.

I could think of at least 12 times Raptors blew it in the last minutes this season. Some our own fault some influenced by the refs.

I feel sick...

The only good thing about this season is the draft night in summer. Roll on the next season please :o

Re: The Official NBA Thread

Just a quick snippet of non-NBA related basketball news.

Congratulations to Mohammad El Akkari on scoring an incredible 113 points in a Lebanese league game. He went 40-for-69 from the field including 32-for-59 from behind the 3 point line.

-------------------------------------

Back to NBA news and a little concerned over the health of Luol Deng as we enter the run-in and the play-offs. He's still struggling from that torn ligament in his wrist and with the minutes he plays I think he could soon be out of gas. Even more concerning is the fact he'll then have to pick himself up for the 2012 Olympics as he tries to lead team GB to a respectable finish.

Re: The Official NBA Thread

That is nuts.. Is the game 40 minutes long in that league as well cause I believe only the NBA has 48.

And I'd expect Bulls to rest guys soon once they wrap up a certain seed. Although Miami is proving a tough competition.

Re: The Official NBA Thread

Oh Dwight!

Well Coach Stan tells the media howard told upper management to fire him! Then Howard comes and says how are you coach? What a Pr disaster :P

And He cheers the knicks when his own team is down 16 to them.
